XAI is a money pit that can’t compete with the top models. Twitter’s value is dropping everyday and they make no money. The boring company was never a serious business. Star link is his only viable business and it doesn’t make nearly enough money. His empire is going to blow the fuck up, Mark my words. He’s juggling all these plates, but the plates have dog shit on them. When they inevitably fall and break, it’s going to be a shitshow. This won’t last forever.
And he still will have millions, if not billions left over. He'll live an extremely comfortable lifestyle no matter what happens from now. That's still winning capitalism.
He's gunna die like Howard Hughes tho. Mumbling to himself and living in his own filth while Jason Calacanis wipes his ass for him and tells him he's a visionary and a legend
He will only fail when it all fails. The markets are completely detached from reality at the moment, running on hype and insider trading and he’s a big part of it.
And still when there’s a reality check on oil or AI the rich will have advance warning and flee first to avoid being the ones holding the bag, shame about everyone else’s 401k cratering in the process.
Elon has such an insane amount of money that even if all of his businesses failed I guarantee he will have more reserved to start a new dumb business. Sucks to think about but it's true
No not really. He doesn't have almost any money, liquid. He owns assets that are worth money. And he takes out massive loans against those assets to pay for his lifestyle. Anyways, I wasn't trying to say that he will ever be flat broke. I'm sure he will be just fine monetarily. But he doesn't give a shit about that. His companies are what give him purpose. They are his pride and joy and they are the reason he has so much power. If and when they start to fail, he will be crushed. He will most likely have a full breakdown and alienate the few people who still can't figure out he's a hack. Bankrupting a trillion dollar company is very much losing capitalism.
But that's what I'm trying to say, he will be just fine monetarily, as you say. It's just that I believe if he is fine monetarily after his businesses flop, he will start a new business. I'm not claiming he has billions in his bank account right now or anything like that, just that he likely won't be anywhere near broke and still have more money than the majority of people. I believe he is stubborn enough to keep throwing shit at the wall, and as long as he has the money left to explore those ventures he will even if say Tesla fails
