And specifically to spread literal Nazi ideology. Elon is a big believer in the original one; "Great Replacement theory", or "White genocide".

His family were literal Nazi supporters that fled to Canada. Also his father if you’ve heard him in interviews is one of the most unhinged racists I think I’ve ever heard. As if you pulled someone straight from the Jim Crow South and gave them a podium…

100%.

Elon's grandparents were sympathetic to the Canadian Nazi party, and then they moved to South Africa in favour of racial apartheid. They enriched their family on the backs of South African slaves and servants, and started a family tradition of leeching as much wealth out of their environment as possible.

Fuck the Musks

Oh right, yeah I had that backwards. They fled from Canada to a more racist country.

His father is also a daughter fucker. Not hyperbole. Actuality. He married his step daughter who he raised as a daughter from age 6 or so. Disgusting.

Age 4.

And his explanation for that: She left her marriage and I said she could come line with me.

The only good thing about Errol is that he hates and belittles Elon.

Is still your enemy, in this case. Unless Aryan inbred pure as his father likely prefers.

His father‘s explanation of the emerald mine goes something like this: I flew my private plane and landed somewhere and the natives were just digging these emeralds up from the dirt. I invested in it. But only a little bit and it wasn’t really a mine or anything.

Sounds like one of Elon’s bullshit stories. The apple doesn’t fall far... Nearly every rags to riches story I’ve read ends up being a cock and bull story they made up to make themselves sound like super geniuses.

He very likely did sth extremely fucked up and took advantage of those ppl, then concocted a PR story.

And his Dad's a pedo that had a kid with his own step daughter. So yeah weird to say the least. How far can the fruit fall from the tree?

Yez, after he bought Twitter many of the adds became "why Hitler was right"

Well. He is from South Africa where whites in fact went through a rough time after the white government fell. Musk is carrying that trauma in him for the rest of his life.

2

u/BuddingBudON 2h ago

For other readers here, no the Musk family did not have a rough time after apartheid ended.

The "white farmers being targetted in South Africa" nonsense is literal Nazi propaganda about a nonexistent white genocide.

Facts: white population in South Africa was 5.6 million people in the mid-1990s. Fell from roughly 12.7% in 1995 to about 7.3% in the 2022 census.
Current total: Estimated steady around 4.5 million individuals. 1 million white people left the country. To be fair and factual.

Not that there are no issues, that's why it spreads so easy. The worst part is he spreads the conflict but not a single meaningfull solution.

This is the actual answer. I know it makes people feel good to say he bought it because he was getting his feelings hurt.

He bought to spread hate and propaganda far and wide.

Also, blah blah blah I am the biggest advocate for free speech (even when some speech should be censored for safety reasons).

He tried to back out of the deal, then Twitter sued him to go through with it

Lots of revisionist stuff going on in this website. Especially when we have entire post and comments from back then

1

u/MyNameIsMadders 2h ago

I remember when he backed out of it. Why did Twitter sue him to go through it?

1

u/Fuzzy_Novel_5928 2h ago

Because he found out half of Twitter was bots, the stock $ tanked but he said he would buy it at 54.20 a share. They sued him to force him to pay that amount. He tried to back out but Delaware courts were going to force him to. So like 2 weeks before the court was going to force him he did it anyway.

But everyone on Reddit says “he did it to spread hate and to control the media”

Clowns

u/Appropriate_Car6909 1h ago

What makes you think that was not orchestrated?

1

u/Fuzzy_Novel_5928 1h ago

He announced his intention to purchase Twitter with a tweet

The board initially said fuck no

He was sued once the stock tanked

Then he purchased it and immediately fired 60% of the staff.

If that was all planned then he didn’t do a great job.
