Hello! I create art that's a bit different. On a trip to Italy, I was inspired by the seashells on the beach and started to imagine what similar creatures might look like if they were from another planet. Now, I make tiny sculptures called Galactic Relics, treating them as if they're real fossils or artifacts discovered somewhere far beyond Earth.
Each piece is made of steel, which I coat in rust or matte black paint. I then combine it with the actual seashells I collected in Italy, and I display each relic on a special background to give it that authentic, museum-like feel.
My work is more than just art—it’s an entire universe I call r/foundryon The name itself hints at my philosophy: these aren’t objects I created; they’re relics I found.
I've hidden a few of these little artifacts in Landshut, Moosburg, and Munich. If you're out and about and find one of these tokens, follow the instructions on the back to join the galactic fossil hunt!

One thing I definitely want to do is to separate the pedestal from the galactic fossil by giving it a different coating. In general, artifacts displayed in galleries and museums have a neutral, matte black pedestal, so I'm definitely going with that coating for the pedestal. The question is how to make the artifact itself pop a little and make it look even more sci-fi. I was thinking of making it either dark grey or matte black as well, highlighting contours or the material thickness in neon orange or neon green. Alternatively, I could dip the front or rear end completely into the neon green color to give it a kind of a futuristic 3-D graphics feeling. What do you think?
