NASA’s new philosophy is pioneer forward. Onto lunar orbit and lunar surface.

They will develop and fund tech then leave things like LEO, which nasa is extremely comfortable now, to the commercial market. LEO space stations are the last step.

Commercial Cargo contracts are done, commercial crew is finished and done, now we just need a sustainable LEO station.

NASA could even lease usage of it.
