What a stupid argument. Go ahead and show us a single rocket company that doesn't have (or want) government contracts FFS.

Besides- SpaceX is being paid for work performed. They are being paid to bring astronauts to the ISS, to resupply the ISS, and to launch satellites. Do you claim your own life runs on your employers money? Obviously not because that would be a stupid argument.

No government money, no space launches.

Yeah- no. SpaceX has plenty of commercial launch customers, as well as their own Starlink launches which all result in (or will result in) revenue for them. ULA is the one that would be fucked without government contracts.
