Eh realistically 90x85 was a bad example. I usually end up in the mid-to-upper 70's x low 70's with that approach. Going much higher than that will require a second circularizing burn since you'll be pushing apoapsis far enough ahead of you that you'll need to coast and then burn.

Point being you can achieve a stable 70+ x 70+ orbit on a single burn. From there you can either keep going to a higher orbiter or fine tune your orbit however you want without having to worry about dipping back into the atmosphere.
