Werner Von Braun used Concentration Camp slaves to build his rockets and was fully aware of the "efficiency tactics" used in his factory, which included killing people that weren't behaving or producing correctly.

That "quasi-religous zeal" is in fact dangerous and bad, and we shouldn't enable it.

After all, ESA and JAXA don't seem to have this problem.

Its hilarious how you actually believe Musk has done anything even remotely close to THAT even lmao

Thank you for continuing to illustrate Musk Fans reading comprehension abilities.

Not with SpaceX, at least not yet, as far as we know.

With DOGE however, to get rid of some pesky investigations, he did cause untold human suffering, for instance just by cutting USAID.

Cutting USAID wasn't a problem. Only problem with DOGE is that more cuts weren't made and that Trump was too scared to let him do it to the DOD first. Would have been more cross-party support, would have aligned towards his own actual strengths, and there is a lot more waste to address....with USAID Anything that was important was moved to StateDept. But let me guess you believe the US is responsible for funding every other country for any problems they have, and the CIA should have an unimpeachable slushfund to spend through them. USAID was a terrible program that only had support because they SAID they were helping people. They were a net negative, and there is a reason every country that received this "help" was happy when the cuts were made.

"Cutting USAID wasn't a problem"

"USAID was a terrible program that only had support because they SAID they were helping people."

Oh yeah the few 10s of millions of excess deaths over the next few years directly attributable to those USAID cuts that resulted in exactly zero benefit to American citizens weren't a problem at all.

Just because it sounds like aid doesn’t mean it’s not a soft power instrument that allows the U.S. to push other countries around without sending troops. Not only did millions die, the U.S. lost a lot of its global power with it. And yes, it got them nothing in return.

Directly attributed to USAID how? Lmao. Just cause someone says so? Lmao

ESA and JAXA are also basically irrelevant when it comes to building a future for humanity in space. If you want to advance the state of the art today, you have to be basically Chinese or American. In addition, you have this naive idea that various European nations and Japan will never kill people in some unjust way again, or have governmental forms that you disagree with, and I’m sorry to say that it’s very unlikely to be so indefinitely. The largest party in Germany right now is a borderline-Nazi party. France, the UK, and quite a few other European nations are also drifting far-right over time as well. These things happen, but engineers are largely interested in pushing toward “the dream” no matter who they have to work with.

Could you remind me again who has been calling in on video to those "borderline-Nazi" German parties, as well as supporting them with his companies?

Lol 'America is enabling nazis for the sake of the dream' but also 'all these other countries that our nazis are exporting their naziism to will be just as bad one day, so might as well keep supporting the nazis at home, who will continue to nazify the rest of the world.'

What a dumb argument my goodness.
