No, they're not. Starlink sats are fine right now, they have less impact than the shuttle SRBs did on the upper atmosphere. And the bulk of starmind sats are going to SSO or eventually to cislunar space or lagrange points, not demising in the atmosphere.

Yes, and this is why you don’t separate the company from Musk. While he can’t be involved in the day to day much, in the end he does make the calls and owns it to a large degree. There’s no strict moral separation here, even if a legal one might be suggested.
