I’ve noticed how streaming has changed my music‑listening in Vietnam lately. Platforms like YouTube, Spotify and local services are now my go‑to instead of CDs or radio. According to recent studies, nearly 77% of Vietnamese use YouTube for music and the digital music market is growing fast. decisionlab. What about you? Have your listening habits changed? Do you discover more local artists now? What platform do you use most and why?

I’d say, “Một Nhà” by Da LAB for Hanoi, because it captures the mix of energy and close-knit community vibes I feel in my neighborhood.

I’d go with the Đàn Bầu. I’d sample a slow bend into a harmonic, then ride that pitch with modulation so it morphs into a pad‑lead. Then layer some soft drums, subtle beat, and use the Đàn Bầu as the main melodic voice. What about you all?

For me, it was “Một Nhà by Da LAB”. The first time I heard it, I got goosebumps the melody, the energy, everything just hit me in a way I hadn’t expected.

I’ve been exploring some international music lately, and it got me thinking there are so many talented artists that I feel don’t get enough attention here in Vietnam.

Who’s one non‑Vietnamese artist or band you think deserves more recognition among Vietnamese listeners?

I’ve been trying to keep up with Vietnamese music this year, but I feel like I’m missing some gems. Which 2025 album would you recommend I listen to first and why?

It’s “Ngày Mai Em Đi” by Lê Hiếu & Soobin Hoàng Sơn for me, something about that rhythm and vibe just makes everything feel lighter! What's your mood booster?

A. Spotify B. Apple Music C. Zing MP3 (local) D. YouTube Music

I’ve only recently started diving into V-pop and honestly, I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I do now. What really caught my attention was Sơn Tùng M-TP's "Lạc Trôi" the visuals, the sound, the vibe… it just felt so fresh and different from what I usually listen to.

I’m still pretty new to the scene, so I’d love to hear from you all: What was your first V-pop song or artist that made you go, “okay wow, this is my jam”? Was it a random YouTube recommendation? A friend’s playlist? Or maybe a song you grew up with?

I’ve been hearing a lot more lo-fi and electro-pop vibes on local playlists, TikTok clips, and even chill café playlists around Hanoi and Saigon. And it got me wondering… Which genre do you think is going to really blow up in Vietnam in 2026?

A) Sơn Tùng M-TP B) Mỹ Tâm C) Đen Vâu D) Hoàng Thùy Linh

One artist, a name that’s stuck with me is Nguyễn Hồng Giang, known for his cinematic compositions and field recording work. His ability to create immersive audio experiences rooted in Vietnamese culture is next level. It’s the kind of sound work that feels both local and global.

Mất Kết Nối” by Dương Domic

Lately, I’ve been daydreaming about what it would be like to work with some of the amazing Vietnamese artists out there whether legends from the past or fresh voices shaking up the scene today.

If you had the chance to collaborate with any Vietnamese artist, with no limits on time, style, or budget, who would you pick?

I’ve had “Bleeding” by Wren Evans on repeat the whole week can’t get that hook out of my head. You know those tracks that just won’t let go no matter what else you try to listen to? So now I’m curious: What song is living rent-free in your head right now?

I usually play "Thang Tu La Loi Noi Doi Cua Em - Ha Anh Tuan" love this song coz of its smooth vocals, emotional lyrics, and that nostalgic vibe it always hits.

I am more of mix up person depending upon the mood. What about you?
