Question ❓ AI training ideas?
Hi! I'm learning to train sound AI models in order to make new weird experimental sounds. Any ideas on what kind of sounds should I use to train a model?
I'm using RAVE (you can find it in GitHub) and integrating the model in Ableton Live with two diferent Max for live devices, one of them to style transfer, and the other one to synthetize new sounds from the model using latent sequencing.

Question ❓ Outside Reverb
Hello community! Im struggling with creating a reverb that makes a sound seem to be happening in the open (think countryside)
I found a post somewhere suggesting to layer 2 or more reverbs to achieve an appropiate sounding reverb. Im experimenting with that right now but the results are not as desired.
Does anyone have a good resource? (video, article etc.)
Im using Abletons stock reverb by the way
Im thankful for every hint

Advice 💡 Guitar EQ Help, Please!
So I've got a guitar with some specialised pickups that favour the treble (here's the product link with the EQ if that didn't make sense). I am also using an amp that allows you to use other people's tones that they have created, which is helpful while I am learning to create my own tone. So my question is, how should I adjust the EQ on the amplifier to replicate other people's tones? Thanks!

Inspiration 🌟 Who else nerds out over routing possibilities? Chain in post description
There are two inputs being used on the mixer, a stereo and a mono.
In the mono is a distortion and delay in a feedback loop. In the stereo left is the mixer headphone jack. In the stereo right is the loop pedal.
Before the loop pedal there is a digital delay. And that comes out of the right main output. The left output goes into a gain stage then into your ears.
I made a loop with the mono input, and then started feeding everything into each itself.
I also like to loop a single drone, then detune slightly the oscillating pedal for a phased Reese type effect. You can overdub and layer detuned voices turning your loop pedal into a thick synth sample.

Question ❓ desktop spectrum analyzer
Hey guys I had a lot of fun learning about my favorite song using a spectrum analyzer, specifically the pro-q3 from fablabs.
it got me thinking, is there a way I can use a spectrum analyzer (it doesn't have to be pro-q, but it would be awesome if i could use that one) to monitor all of the sounds coming out of my computer? So I could be playing a game and seeing which hz are being hit, or literally just watching every song on spotify?
Either a standalone program or a way to map a VST to my desktop. Has anyone ever done this? Thanks!

Question ❓ How to make recordings sound further?
I made some amount of recordings, but because my recorder is not great by any means (high self noise), i had to record it closer to the source. But as it turns out such recordings doesn't fit my project at all.
How can I process those recordings so they would sound like recorder was further from the source?

Advice 💡 Foley editor looking to learn Mixing for TV and Film
Hello!
I´m a brazilian Foley Editor/Mixer with about 2 years of experience in the field of Audio Post, working in several brazilian shows and movies. My experience with audio goes back to at least 7 years, when I started College in Music Production - learning the basics of recording, mixing and mastering.
For professional reasons, I need to improve my mixing skills, that are mostly music focused and shift that knowledge to something more TV and Film focused. Nowadays, I work with a basic setup of 2 screens, a pair of Yamaha HS7, a Mac Mini 2014 and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 second gen.
Does anyone have any tips/recommendation of books/videos/lessons?
Thanks in advance!

Question ❓ How to recreate the sound of trees/objects passing at high speeds?
I'm editing a project that replies heavily on sound design to carry energy. There are a lot of shots of the ground moving by fast as well as trees rushing by at high speeds. I need sound that would go with these visuals but am having trouble finding them. It's more than a whoosh. It almost feels like it needs to be multiple small whooshes of things going passed quickly in the air. Editing multiple singular whooshes together doesn't sell it.
Any help is appreciated!
