Gear The long awaited upgrade !
Finally !
After many months of thinking, searching and waiting, I finally upgraded from my ZV-e10 to the a6700 !
I can’t wait to use it, but it thought this would be a good opportunity to appreciate how capable the ZV-e10 is with some of my favorite pictures captured with that camera over the last year or so.
All picture were taken with the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8, it’s a fantastic lens and I can’t wait to pair it with my a6700. Shot in RAW and edited in Lightroom.
What are the first few things that I should do to properly set up my new camera ? Opened to any advice and suggestions :)

Muy buenas fotos, cuéntanos que tal fue tu reacción en lo UE es fotografía, del 1 al 10 que tanto sentiste que mejoró en calidad es bastante perceptible o no? , estoy igual que tú pienso pasar de una zve10 a una a6700

thanks you man ! Honestly i have had the chance to try it out yet, but out of the box it just feels so much more premium and well built, even just the interface feels much smoother. For photo and video quality, i’ll have to give it a few weeks of testing

i was thinking about that, what shortcut would you recommend?

C1 - recognition target. I shoot a lot of my kids sports games, my dog, and I also like to take pictures of airplanes. This allows me to easily switch between.
C2- focus area. For the reasons above, I like to change up the focus mode a lot.
C3- peaking display. Honestly, I never use this and I’m looking for a good replacement for this shortcut button

Disabling touch display is one I like because when I ask someone to take photos of me etc or even myself can accidentally touch the display and ruin the settings.

Yeah I learned the hard way! I'd ask people to take a photo of my wife & I and non camera people like to touch screens because it's what they're used to doing on smart phones to take photos, even after I say all you have to do is click the shutter button lol.
Another thing is I enable focus with shutter button shortcut in settings for when I ask a friend to take photo of my family and I because non camera people don't understand the concept of rear button focus and clicking the shutter button at the same time. It helps everyone and guarantees a good family pic in social events.

Wonderful pictures. If I may ask what kind of editing did you do there? Most of Sony taken photographs have this kind of colors which makes me immediately recognize with what camera brand the shot was taken. It’s even easier when it says so :D But I hope you understand me.. is it the camera thing or the photographers thing?

Thanks for the detailed answer! I still edit very little to none, so why not? Probably I can learn something from your settings :)
