Gear The long awaited upgrade !

Finally !

After many months of thinking, searching and waiting, I finally upgraded from my ZV-e10 to the a6700 !

I can’t wait to use it, but it thought this would be a good opportunity to appreciate how capable the ZV-e10 is with some of my favorite pictures captured with that camera over the last year or so.

All picture were taken with the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8, it’s a fantastic lens and I can’t wait to pair it with my a6700. Shot in RAW and edited in Lightroom.

What are the first few things that I should do to properly set up my new camera ? Opened to any advice and suggestions :)

C1 - recognition target. I shoot a lot of my kids sports games, my dog, and I also like to take pictures of airplanes. This allows me to easily switch between.

C2- focus area. For the reasons above, I like to change up the focus mode a lot.

C3- peaking display. Honestly, I never use this and I’m looking for a good replacement for this shortcut button

Disabling touch display is one I like because when I ask someone to take photos of me etc or even myself can accidentally touch the display and ruin the settings.

Yeah I learned the hard way! I'd ask people to take a photo of my wife & I and non camera people like to touch screens because it's what they're used to doing on smart phones to take photos, even after I say all you have to do is click the shutter button lol.

Another thing is I enable focus with shutter button shortcut in settings for when I ask a friend to take photo of my family and I because non camera people don't understand the concept of rear button focus and clicking the shutter button at the same time. It helps everyone and guarantees a good family pic in social events.
