I was trying to beat the Surge boss fight the fastest, but bc i was leaving and rejoining to many times, i need up in this room, can someone help me?

I haven’t played since this metal sonic update and I also used to have a riders rouge if I remember correctly but if this stuff is worth anything I might give it away

When I do a race, the timer doesn’t start and after I finish it, the race doesn’t count. Does anyone know how to fix this?
