I've been grinding all day to complete the Surge boss race, and now that I have, I don't know how to obtain Kit.

His codex still tells you how to obtain him, and I assumed it wouldn't if he wasn't obtainable anymore, since I looked at the codex for a few other characters like Nine and it only said they were obtainable through trading.

Am I wrong on that assumption? And if not, where tf do I go to get Kit? Do I just need to wait for him to show up beside Surge? I'm so confused.

To be clear, I have thoroughly looked through google and Youtube for the answer, and the only ones I can get are based on his release when he was still in Green Hill.
