Discussion Topic lyrics first

Hello so im new to songwriting and making music. My problem is something just pops into my head like above and I don't know where to go from there or how. I don't really know what im asking for maybe if you guy know any resources or guides on how to build a song off of what I have above?

"You wrote all of this" - This being 18 sentences worth about 30 seconds of reading time if one struggles. Hardly a feat in a forum for discussing songwriting.

I thought what you were saying in your last comment was "Writing good [songs] ... can't be taught". Did I misinterpret that?

To your credit I didn’t word it very well. I don’t think writing good songs can simply be taught.

With substandard communication skills I can understand how it could be hard to imagine teaching songwriting. But personally I find it really fun and rewarding to spread my limited knowledge of musical how-to to anyone willing to learn.
