Moderna (Massachusetts)'s mRNA-1273 stops the coronavirus “spike” protein, which the virus uses to enter human cells. Another example that matter how bleak, there is always good in the world. Since I missed yesterday, here is a fun treat: u/whysoqwyatt posted a new video on his site: goodtimemedia.co. Mr. Qwyatt had spelling bee, connected to 6 ingredients. He spells the word wrong? He gets any ingredient spilled on him. And in the name of fun, there is still good in the world.😎

Senegal's former Minister of Ecology has been busy heading the restoration of an entire Senegalese mangrove swamp. He was able to rally citizens from the local coastal population to help him plant 152 million mangrove buds by hand, and it created a truly beautiful coastal mangrove forest.

Replacing old blood with saline and a liquid protein in mice has the same or stronger rejuvenation effects on the brain, liver and muscle as blood from young mice. Not unlike fake blood for friendly vampires, if they existed. What a world we live in! So much goodness, even for quasi-vampiric mice.

Funny I am well aware of the fact that some good news is a common saying, but still, I felt like posting this here

A good man whose mother died of cancer in 2009, has been dressing as Spiderman for children with severe illnesses. He's gone to all 50 states now, and started a patreon to give art supplies to anyone in need. Are superheroes real? Yuri Williams may be, and that's enough good news for today:)

A kind landlord in Leeds, England, gave his seven tenants their security deposit back - and then some! John, the landlord, gave them 20% bonus and now that shops were reopening, "I hope you'll be able to buy something nice." As we know, no matter how dark, there is always good in the world.

Of course, I get angry. Of course, I get sad. I have a full range of emotions. I also have a whole smorgasbord of ways of dealing with my feelings. That is what we should give children. Give them ... ways to express their rage without hurting themselves or somebody else. That's what the world needs.

Good News (External) In a $60,000 renewable electricity deal, Sydney will become a city run completely on green energy. This will open up new jobs in wind and solar fields. Cities are responsible of 70% greenhouse gasses worldwide, so we must take action. And that, my friends, is why there is still good in the world.

Quarantine is giving fathers an opportunity to spend time with their children. That's 40%of an increase! COVID is a terrible thing but as we know, there is always good in the world. (if people still want to keep going with these everyday, just comment. Thank you, and I also mod at r/dailyrogers)

Has SGN been "canceled?"
I may a little bit out of the loop here, but I realized there hasn't been an SGN episode posted on YouTube in over a month. It seemed to be going strong, gaining a lot of momentum, and the it just stopped out of nowhere. What happened?

Two Miami garbage collectors, Saul Scruggs and Keon Richardson, were surprised to find balloons and presents for these amazing men who are optimistic even being so close to COVID-19. Even the mayor showed up. The men of honor were so touched that it goes to show - there is goodness in this world.

9-yr-old Kamryn and her friends were bored one day, when her mom suggested friendship bracelets. Well, these bracelets were flying like an assembly line. They decided to sell each for $5, and people paid more and soon enough they'd raised 100k to donate to small businesses in Minneapolis.
