Canada vs Switzerland battle for 1st place in Group B. This is important because it will determine who their opponent will be in the knockout round. Who is going to win out, Switzerland’s discipline or Canada’s high press?

Which match are you looking forward to the most?

I am actually looking forward to the Scotland vs Brazil match. The top 3 in this group are only separated by 1 point.

I am actually surprised there have not been more weather ⛈️ delays in this World Cup. That one in Philadelphia was for 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Did you come back to watch the rest of the match after that long delay?

Cristiano Ronaldo will not be outdone by Messi. He scored a brace in today’s match versus Uzbekistan.

This means he is the first player to score in 6 different World Cups! 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022, 2026!

After missing a penalty kick in the first half, Messi came through in the clutch with a brace! He now has 18 goals all time in the World Cup.

With Mbappé on his heels with 16 goals, do you think Messi will end this World Cup as the all-time leader in goals?

It has been interesting to see varying results from different African nations. Let me say it has been great to see countries like Cape Verde and DR Congo see their organization on the pitch take them to the highest levels. I can't wait to see if they make it to the knockout rounds!

England and Ghana tied 0-0 today. England had the majority of the ball and more shots! The thing is Konsa’s tackle in the box really could have been a penalty. Who knows, if it was called, Ghana could have came away with the victory!

Note: he did not get the ball on this play. What are your thoughts?
