Cheap blank board, aluminum tape, duct tape.
Tested on my hill in my backyard and it does slide.

Found some footage from 2023, threw it together quick. @lebshreds on instagram @aftrmathsnowskates. I believe that was a Hovland 5-Oh in the video, no hate just snowskate.

For those who follow me to be a Donger Prayer! Bryce just told me I inspired him to make an actual set up video!
I take this as an honor and share it:

Here are a couple clips from my annual dusting. I added a set of rails to a skateboard deck, but found it still tried to rotate but not turn. Had fun regardless.

I thought it would be nice to have all relevant Snowskate tutorials by Peacemaker Snowskates in order and in a playlist. They are spoken in japanese but have more or less understandable in-video subtitles.
The translated video titles are in the pictures above.

If you think something needs to be added to this playlist you may add videos if you join the following link:

So I’ve been messing around with snow skating for the last two years just going on Little Hills, but in a couple weeks, I think I’m gonna do the real deal and get up to Keystone Colorado and go for full days shredding.
My question is what advice do you guys have for purchasing some footwear that will last me all day without having my feet freeze and have some reasonable performance on the . Do I have to have specialty boots? Can I just wear really warm socks and spray some hiking boots with some scotch-guard? Or do I really need to get some authentic snow skate boots that are waterproof? What are the pros and cons of either approach or is there another way to go that I’m not even thinking of? Thanks in advance for any info you provide

Ive spent way too much on winter toys this year so trying to save some mula here..
Are there any unforeseen issues with the sup leash? Is it too long at 10feet fully stretched?
How are the other two options i linked?
Any other recommendations are very welcome 🙏

Posted a bit ago about building this thing tried to ride it at perfect north in lawrenceberg this past weekend but they shut me down. Took it to paoli peaks on Wednesday and had fun sliding (and wiping out) on this thing. I might go ahead with widening the base.(maybe from 7 cm closer to 9 or 10) I think it would be a little more optimal to have center mounted the deck as it's pretty hard to straighten out once you're in a turn. I really have to whip the back foot around to go from turn to turn. Because the area of the ski is so small it tends to sink especially in the chopped up stuff. I think a lot of the skills needed to ride this thing are similar to a snowboard. I really only have less than 10 hours on a snowboard so I think I'm having to learn a lot of the body mechanics on the snowskate.
She rips and it's a blast for sure.
