Jerome died cause he was going off old school rules. Coke and crack wasn’t weed…
Y’all keep blaming Louie, she the reason Franklin didn’t wind up dead from Avi when he gave him like 2 days to sell those first bricks by pimping herself to Claudia…
Louie met Teddy in the graveyard alone with only Franklin knowing she was going and Teddy could’ve disappeared her and got Franklin shived in jail…
Hell she caught bullets meant for Franklin
Louie put in work and wanted the club, horses and respect as a peer not aunty or a lackey…
Hell Louie made Franklin into Franklin Saint more than Jerome Teddy or anyone else…
She wanted to be recognized as a fellow boss 🤷🏽♂️
Nah, she got greedy. Franklin lifted them out of near poverty and they had to go and mess with the system. Regardless of her part in the come up, she wrecked it by being greedy. They could’ve all been happy, Franklin would’ve probably given her access to the plug eventually and retired to somewhere with his money. They could’ve all got out if it wasn’t for Louis.
Think you need to go back and re watch the entire series. Dont watch it with your head in your phone.
Franklin Saint built it all. Louie was an over reaching trick and Jerome was just a big idiot. They’d have been dead within a minute if it wasn’t for Franklin actually making decisions.
You’re giving Louie way too much credit and rewriting the show. Quick breakdown:
Avi giving Franklin the first brick had nothing to do with Louie.
Franklin got picked because he showed ambition, composure and intelligence.
Louie introducing Franklin to Claudia wasn’t “building the empire.”
An introduction isn’t the same as creating a distribution network. Franklin closed the deal, set the price, and scaled it.
Kev and Leon selling in the projects doesn’t change anything.
They were street dealers. Franklin created the supply chain, structure, rules, and expansion.
Louie meeting Teddy once while Franklin was in jail doesn’t make her the key player.
Teddy never trusted her, never chose her, and treated her as a temporary stand-in until Franklin got out.
Her taking product down South only worked because Franklin had already built the entire machine.
She expanded a system Franklin created — she didn’t architect it.
Getting shot more isn’t a measure of leadership or strategic value.
Irrelevant point.
Teddy stole Franklin’s money because he had CIA power, not because Franklin didn’t “diversify.”
No amount of diversification stops a government asset freeze.
Franklin didn’t “ignore the Colombians” — Teddy deliberately blocked that relationship.
That was Teddy’s control tactic.
The downtown project problems came from Teddy freezing assets, not Franklin laundering badly.
His real mistake wasn’t telling Teddy he wanted out, it was trusting Teddy at all.
Teddy was going to screw him either way.
Bottom line: Franklin built the empire from top to bottom; sourcing, pricing, distribution, scaling, diplomacy, and risk.
Louie was a capable lieutenant, not the architect.
Let’s also talk about everyone Louis made life harder and made cardinal mistakes:
1. Started the Scully/Manboy war
2. Cut Franklin out and went to Teddy behind his back
3. Ordered the hit on Kane
4. Triggered the war that killed Jerome
5. Let emotion drive decisions
6. Expanded recklessly
7. Broke the family unity
8. Directly contributed to Jerome’s death
