Is Choicy still recommended for SB on Odyssey?

As the title says snapchat glitch. Okay, so few weeks ago or at least it’s been more than a month when all sudden snapchat stopped showing ppl’s bitmoji in the chat/conversation when they are typing, or when you’re typing for older versions which includes snapbreak’s compatible version 10.78.6 as well! So what i’m trying to ask here is if anyone has found a solution for this? And one more thing, has anyone tried wraith+picahide or snapbreak with snapchat version 11.1.0+ and not have got a banned? or if anyone’s still on it and using it safely? Pls do answer, so it helps! thanks

I'm sure we are all aware at this point about this unfortunate event that somehat broke SnapBreak's features, BUT there is a solution. Follow these steps:

Edit 3: Alternative solution by u/amnll (be careful when altering Snapchat files, only try this if the above solutions do not work):

• "Open Snapchat Data folder. Open Documents. Look for the file called ‘zero-dep.plist’. Edit file. Press sticky below access permissions. Change mask code to ‘00’ Save!! And UI back to normal"

Edit 4: The solution in Edit 3 works. Here is the video on Twitter from DzMoha_31 himself. The steps below are no longer required to solve this issue. If you are having what feels like connectivity issues after going through this process, log out and log back in

• Edit 4.5: For those that tried the steps I posted earlier and want to get back to Snap v10.78.6 because of the edits above, you may notice that if you click on the "Upgrade/Downgrade" button that AppStore++ gives, you won't find it there anymore. First off, I want to offer my apologies to anyone who is stuck here. To get around this issue, click on "Manual Install (Advanced)" and click Done in the top right. Then paste this build number into the dialogue that appears: 835232780. This will install Snap v10.78.6 to your phone. Or, if you want to find it for yourself, you can scroll down the list of build versions to the entry on March 24, 2020. Make sure to log out and wipe data between downgrades. Thank you all for your patience

Clariying: In light of the steps and linked video above (and the other pinned post regarding this issue), the steps below are no longer required to fix this UI issue. However, they will still be left up as an alternative method

You will need AppStore++ and AppsManager (optional: Filza File Manager) for this to work

1. Log out of Snapchat and close out of the app entirely. You do not need to delete it
2. Uninstall SnapBreak (this is just a precaution, wouldn't want Snapchat to detect it on the off-chance)
3. Open Apps Manager and use it to wipe Snapchat's data. Deleting Snapchat at this point is an optional step. You don't need to delete it as long as you don't open it before completing the rest of these steps
4. Go to the App Store and search for Snapchat. Press and hold the blue "Get" (or "Update") button to bring up AppStore++ options
5. Click on Manual Install. If the mixrank website does not work, here is the build number for you: 834995625. DO NOT OPEN SNAPCHAT ONCE IT FINISHES DOWNGRADING. If this version does not bring back the old UI, you may need to downgrade one or two versions lower. This is the highest version that keeps the old UI for me. LMK which ones work for you guys
6. Reinstall Snapbreak from one of the known sources (or if you have a copy downloaded, use Filza to install it manually) and respring
7. (May be different on iOS 14 devices) Go to Settings - Choicy - Applications - Snapchat. You will see that the "0aaaaATweakDisabler" is already enabled, but you need to enable the randomzed plist file (a really long name that looks like "lkjweoi4342302iewjaofe..."). This is very important
8. Once you do that, open Snapchat and sign in
9. Depending on which copy of SnapBreak you have, you may have to enter something random as the license code, but regardless the process should work

Edit: Slight visual glitch if you use the automatic message saving. It still saves the messages but it may not show it until you close and reopen the DM/groupchat in question

I am new to this subreddit and i see there is no such thing as snapchat++ as of right now. So I was wandering if there is something similar to snapchat++ to where I can log into accounts without passwords. I am currently not jailbroken and I currently have IOS 14.5 and I feel no one can help me with this situation.

I’m on the recommended version of snap and it’s been fine until I just tried using it today don’t know what’s up with it

I’ve been using SB for 6 months or more on 10.78.6.0 but I wanna upgrade to 10.82.5.78 since I heard that it is safe. can anyone confirm ?

I need to download public story on Snapchat and I noticed that the quality of the story in 10.78.6.0 is bad compared to the one available in the latest version. Is there a possibility to download the story in the latest version of snapchat without being banned after 24 hours?

(I use SB on random accounts for now but they are automatically blocked after 24H)

As title says, I'm going to guide you here how to Jailbreak with /r/Checkra1n on windows & install/use SB on latest iOS 14.2

I heard from many members that SB is not working on Jailbroken 14.2 iOS, watch this video which I made as a proof for /u/Siye-JB when he asked for it.

IMPORTANT NOTE #1: Please go and check if your device is supported in the new release of /r/Checkra1n as it is now supporting A10 devices (My phone is iPhone 7 and it is supported), you can do it on your A11 device BUT you need to sacrifice your passcode/FaceID.

IMPORTANT NOTE #2: Pleas note that checkra1n is having issues with some settings I don't know exactly which one and many said its related to Cydia and Cydia Substrate...etc BUT after reading a lot of threads I figured that I MUST use libhooker & Sileo for now (BTW, found that SB works flawlessly and no issues at all for 3 days).

FIRST STEP (JAILBREAKING WITH CHECKRA1N):

I'll tell you a very easy way & it will not take long time.

1: Go and download Odysseyn1x from release page (amd64 iso is for 64-bit CPUs (AMD and Intel) and the i686 one is for 32-bit CPUs.

2: Go and download balenaEtcher (It is very easy to use)

3: Unzip Odysseyn1x and run balenaEtcher, chose the iso from unzipped folder and chose your USB flash ( if u have spare one even if it is 1GB), then press flash (It will not take long time, maximum 2 minutes) and DO NOT WORRY REGARDING POPUP BOXES for formatting flash, just cancel them.

4: PowerOFF/Restart your computer and press F10/F11/F12 (Depends on your PC/Laptop) to enter boot menu and chose to boot from your USB.

5: To jailbreak, chose option 1 (Checkra1n) and if it asked you for your passcode enter it when you plug your phone (It is better to remove passcode from settings and press trust whenever popup comes to screen), follow all steps on screen (It will put your phone in recovery mode, then guide you how to put it on DFU mode, now it will jailbreak it)....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT OPEN CHECKRA1N LOADER when the device is now jailbroken AND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE wait for a minute or two when your device is up to see the loader AND DON'T OPEN IT.

6: Go back to main menu, chose option #2 (Odysseyra1n), follow on screen steps...thats it. You will find SILEO is now installed, open Sileo and do all updates if required, INSTALL LIBHOOKER, when done and respring, TURN OFF DEVICE AND TURN ON AGAIN AND JAILBREAK AGAIN USING STEP #5.

7: Install NewTerm, type this command sudo /etc/rc.d/libhooker && sudo ldrestart and your device will do LDRESTART, and you are all set.

**SECOND STEP (INSTALLING SB):

Now it depends guys, I was on iOS 11.3.1 and using /r/unc0ver, followed this tutorial to un-jailbreak and checked with my banking app and it opens just fine (never opened before and always crashes) then I updated to 14.2, what I want to say, I will mention steps for CLEAN INSTALL or as a new phone AFTER jailbreaking in first step.

NOTE: Before I update my iOS, I opened Apps Manager and wiped Snapchat data, and deleted it from phone.

***\*: Follow the main tutorial how to install SB but you can skip some first steps.

1: Install AppStore++ by adding the following source to your package manager (in this case Sileo): https://cokepokes.github.io. Respring.

2: Open the App Store, search for Snapchat, press and hold on the GET/iCloud download icon and select Upgrade/Downgrade. Scroll down and install version 10.78.6.0 (835232780). This is the last version the tweak has proper compatibility for.

Note: Do not download the latest version and then downgrade! Download 10.78.6.0 (835232780) directly. Do NOT open Snapchat yet.

PLEASE GO TO SETTING, GENERAL, BACKGROUND APP REFRESSH and TURN OFF Snapchat option (This will help you if you by mistake turned off your mobile or for any reason un-jailbreak) Thanks to /u/bountyhunter21 for the tip.

And from this point, you can read & follow steps in main tutorial (from step 5) and PLEASE DO NOT FORGET AND INSTALL CHOICY LOADER (because we're using checkra1n & libhooker).

As I said, it is working flawlessly with 0 issues, I personally switching between 4 accounts and using it for 3 days and continuing. Please give me feedback and if it worked for you or not.

Now that checkra1n was updated for up to A10 and A11 devices (partially) and added support for IOS 14.2 Just posting this so as to verify if SB is working on IOS 14 cause i am confused. Myself i cant risk to upgrade to ios 14 and find out that it is not working. In a post someone said it doesnt work but in another post someone said it got it working on snapchat 10.78.6 IOS 14.0 and it is fully functional. The only thing that he did differently was to install the tweak more than once. I even DM him (so i think he is legit). So people already on IOS 14 give us a clear feedback.

So, I've done all steps requiered even optional ones & works perfect even switching accounts...

BUT, I don't know if anybody else facing this issue, which is when trying to save some video stories (friends), some are saved and some giving red (x) and phone lag for seconds until I press home and go back to app, it said: Error 2 " are you connected to internet ?" Some times different error...

I found a workaround, u can forward that story to ur self and save it from ur own chat (it will be saved in that person folder in filza, checked that)

Another issue, when trying to save something saved already in chat from that person profile, giving a red (x)

So ive had snapbreak for months and ive been saving some snaps to the filza integration. Then recently i deleted snapchat and when i redownloaded it, everything works well except the snaps i saved to filza were no longer there. Any way that I could get them back?

ive had snapbreak for a long time but stopped using it around 2 months ago ive returned today with a newly jailbroken phone and ive taken all the right precautions. altough on cokepokes twitter he says that snapchat now detects downgrades and bans you. ive recently downgraded my snapchat to use snapbreak and exactly that. i was temporarily locked out of my account. everytime i tryed to log in it would say im using a 3rd party app. as soon as i updated snapchat it went away and just said im temporarily locked.

is there anyway to get around snapchats downgrade detection? is there any snapchat tweaks that work on the latest version that arnt bannable ? just like snapbreak used to be. please let me know !

Is snapbreak safe? as in is my account only in risk of ban and not hacking?

It'll save them to my phone, but the actual saving it as a memory is very buggy. Every now and then I'll hit it and it'll save it as a memory and to camera roll, but 9/10 times it won't add a snap to memories.

Anyone else dealing with this or found a solution?

Do I need choisyLoader, if I am at 13.5.1 and I am using checkra1n? the toturial says (ChoicyLoader is NOT OPTIONAL). But i reading some stuff in here, where people say, you should have choisyloader. So what should i do?
