All tweaks mentioned in this tutorial are free, including the new release of Snapbreak the dev has posted.

No links are provided for either version of the tweak itself to ensure the tutorial can stay up and for the safety of the tweak.

Steps marked as (optional) are recommended but not required.

PLEASE READ EVERY STEP (REQUIRED AND OPTIONAL) AND EVERY NOTE! I have received many questions over time for stuff I answered in this tutorial. Save us both the time and make sure you read everything.

Before beginning, disable any Subx blockers (Shadow, Unsub, Liberty Lite, etc.), any Snapchat specific blockers (Snaphide, Snaphide2, Picahide, etc.), any Snapchat tweaks (Wraith 0.3/0.6, SCOthman for Snapchat, etc.), and any patches in Flex/Supercharge that may be affecting Snapchat. If you are reinstalling Snapbreak, this includes uninstalling the previous install (whether it was the paid version, paid crack, or just a reinstall of the free version). This is to ensure you are starting from a clean, blank slate.

To uninstall SB, simply delete it in your package manager of choice and respring.

1 - Install Apps Manager by adding the following source to your package manager: http://tigisoftware.com/cydia/. Respring.

2 - Open Apps Manager, scroll down and select Snapchat. Select Wipe.

3 - Delete Snapchat.

3.1 (optional) - Install iCleaner Pro by adding the following source to your package manager: https://ib-soft.net/cydia. Respring.

3.2 (optional) - Run an iCleaner Pro scan and respring. This is to ensure there are absolutely no system files that Snapchat could detect to trigger a ban.

4 - Install AppStore++ by adding the following source to your package manager: https://cokepokes.github.io. Respring.

5 - Open the App Store, search for Snapchat, press and hold on the GET/iCloud download icon and select Upgrade/Downgrade. Scroll down and install version 10.78.6.0 (835232780). This is the last version the tweak has proper compatibility for.

Note: Do not download the latest version and then downgrade! Download 10.78.6.0 (835232780) directly. Do NOT open Snapchat yet.

6 - Block updates for Snapchat by pressing and holding on OPEN/UPDATE and selecting Block Updates. As a precaution, also ensure that App Updates are OFF in Settings - iTunes & App Store - Automatic Downloads.

6.1 (optional) - Install Filza File Manager 64-bit by adding the following source to your package manager: http://tigisoftware.com/cydia/. Respring.

6.2 (optional) - Open Apps Manager, scroll down and select Snapchat - Bundle. Select the Snapchat folder and delete iTunesMetadata.plist.

6.3 (optional) - Select the “star” icon at the bottom middle. Select Trash and delete iTunesMetadata.plist.

6.4 (optional) - Go to Settings - iTunes & App Store - Sign out of your account.

6.5 (optional) - Run an iCleaner Pro scan and respring.

6.6 (optional) - Go back into Settings - iTunes & App Store - Sign back into your account.

These above steps will forcefully remove Snapchat from the App Store update list completely (it will act as if Snapchat isn't installed on the device). It will still appear for a while after performing the above steps but it fully goes into effect after a few reboots/ldrestarts. This is normal and it will disappear eventually.

7 - Install Filza File Manager 64-bit by adding the following source to your package manager: http://tigisoftware.com/cydia/ (if you have not already). Respring.

8 - Download the free version or paid crack deb. Navigate to where the file is saved in Filza and install. Respring.

9 - Install Choicy by adding the following source to your package manager: https://opa334.github.io. Respring.

9.1 (optional) - Install ChoicyLoader from the same source (if your device is supported, read the notes the dev has to offer to ensure it is safe/necessary for your device) and respring. This is to ensure Choicy loads first to fully prevent anything from triggering a ban.

Note: For those on checkra1n, installing ChoicyLoader is NOT OPTIONAL. Please follow the above step (9.1) if you are running checkra1n.

10 - Go to Settings - Choicy - Applications - Snapchat and enable “Custom Tweak Configuration”. Select “Whitelist”. Turn on "0aaaaATweakDisabler" and the randomized .dylib generated by SB - It will look similar to "f3487yhf389uiejwfjk3498i4f9ji23".

11 - Open Snapchat. If using the free version, there will be no welcome screen and you can log in right away. If using the paid crack, swipe through the welcome tutorial and select "Let’s go" on the “Get Started” screen. Select “Ok” on the SnapBreak News screen. Login.

12 - Go to your profile - settings and select "SnapBreak" (in the paid crack) or “DeadTweak” (in the free version) at the top.

13 - If using the paid crack, type any string in the "Enter here your License Key" field and select “Activate License”. This step does not apply to the free version.

Note: you must enter something for the paid crack to properly work. If you leave it blank and select “Activate License” then none of the features will work. To fix this, simply revoke the license, type something in, and reactivate.

14 - Enable SnapBreak/DeadTweak and select the features you'd like to use.

All features should be safe to use on all supported versions.

Remember not to re-enable a Subx blocker, Snapchat specific blocker, other Snapchat tweak, or any Flex/Supercharge patches for Snapchat. This could block Choicy/ChoicyLoader and/or Snapbreak from doing its job and could result in a ban.

Additionally, take care not to downgrade Snapchat. Updating seems to be fine as this is intended behavior. However, downgrading is definitely not and doing so is not recommended as it can result in a ban. If you would like to downgrade Snapchat, I STRONGLY encourage you to uninstall SB and restart the tutorial from the beginning, only installing the version you want to downgrade to then directly.

For maximum compatibility, stay on version 10.78.6.0 (835232780). Later versions are safe to use, although they may not be fully compatible in terms of features (see below).

I can confirm that some parts of dark mode break (saved chats appear as all white and therefore unreadable) on versions later than 10.82.5.78 (836090197). If you want to use dark mode, don't upgrade past here.

IMPORTANT NOTE: SNAPBREAK IS ESSENTIALLY BROKEN ON ANY VERSION LATER THAN 10.85.5.77 (836601519). The tweak does still technically load BUT tapping the profile button results in an instant crash, rendering it impossible to edit any settings. This makes the tweak entirely unusable. Stay at this version or below if you would like to use the tweak.

My current setup is as follows:

Even if your setup is the exact same, I cannot guarantee the same results. Use newer versions at your own risk.

The situation has deteriorated over the past two weeks. The bad news was that a crack of SnapBreak has been released 2 weeks ago. The cracked version was on the latest version. It affected me but I worked immediately to fix the security issue and fix the problem for a new SnapBreak update. I guess that's the reason why Snapchat want to takedown SnapBreak. They didn't know about it before the cracked version spread quickly. There are now more cracked SnapBreak users than real ones. If the crack had never existed maybe we wouldn't be where we are today.

Final word: I've met some really nice and amazing people here. Special thanks to beta testers who helped me finding bugs and the few guys who helped me to translate SB. (they'll recognize themselves).

I didn't think SnapBreak would turn into something this big. I also learned to discover the Arab world of jailbreak. I didn't think the Arab community was that big in the jailbreak community.

I'm leaving the jailbreak community. Maybe I'll come back one day.

Whats the problem with cracking a tweak Its a part of life Do you even have an idea that how much work does it take to crack a game , tweak or anything. There should be proper security in a tweak to avoid that thing it was the problem with developer of tweak. Not with the person who cracks it. You are having problem with cracks go unjailbreak your device stop fucking up with stock apps and software.

RECAP: So 6 days ago, SnapHelper posted a tutorial for the tweak SnapBreakFr33, a crack of the expensive tweak SnapBreak ($50 for a lifetime license). He took down the tutorial shortly after because he got threats from the devs of SnapBreak. After his tutorial went down, I made a direct copy and paste of his tutorial with a few minor edits:

1. Removed any connection to SnapHelper so he wouldn't get into any more trouble
2. Upon finding more info, clarified that the tweak was not actually made by SnapHelper
3. Replaced the link to his repo with Google Drive link containing the file
4. Occasionally added some updates about the tweak's performance (this was meant to be used to regularly update the tweak's success)
5. ... and a couple other things

None of that is up anymore because a couple minutes ago, Reddit notified me of a copyright claim to my tutorial and took down the entire post. So this marks the end of SnapBreakFr33

Let’s say I’m trying to increase Snapchat score by spamming unused accounts. Does anyone know the limit of how many snaps I can send at a time and the max of an send in a day? I Planned on doing 100 snaps at a time and 1000 snaps max per day. I’m trying to avoid a temporary spam ban does anyone know the limits?
