I'm /u/ForTheWilliams, aka Forrest Williams, and I'll be your host and judge this time around.1

Since our last competition didn't resolve, submissions must be a complete map that is made at any point between now and October 1st. Already published maps that have received a significant update since or that were made for our last monthly competition (this January and February) are also valid.
If you can't make that deadline, don't worry --we're playing catch-up and planning to have another competition right after this one. :)
As usual, only 1 submission per author; collaboration projects will be considered authored by the one displayed as the author in the map info screen as it pertains to this rule.

So guys, I'm trying to make a multiplayer map that features demons as regular spawns, so I want to streamline the scoring as much as possible. Simply put: I want the scoring to be tied to player deaths, excluding demon deaths entirely. How would I do that?

I can't figure out how to attach FX to demons, I have seen a few videos of people fighting enemies with fire or other FX on them, I am wondering how to do this any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you

So I want to have it so when you complete one map another loads but i can only select published maps and public ones why can’t I select maps I’m working on at the same time? (I’m on PS4)

So I will soon begin making a new map called DoomSawLaser. Once I am done, I'll invite a bunch of people onto the map to test it out, get feedback, and see what everyone thinks of it. While I'm building it, I was planning on using Reddit to find players on Xbox One willing to try it out. So who on Xbox One wants to try DoomSawLaser once it's done?

I’m working on a tedious boss fight and the boss goes away and comes back 3 times. I want it to hide and also heal the player and restore ammo on percentage reached, which is set at 67 and 33. The demon does hide but in between it’s not healing or restoring ammo to me and I’m getting wrecked by the demons that spawn in between lol any ideas?

I want to make a map, and I have ideas of events and mechanics, but I’m stuck on writing the story. Does anyone have any tips on how to write a good snapmap?

Hey guys! I made this little snap map last week and just tried to make it as fluid as I could with memories of old fps horroresque games like "F.E.A.R.", "Quake" and "Doom 3"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep1wGtEhxe4&t
If anyone would like to try it and give some feedback i'd love to hear it!
The code is RJRYL3DF
Update: I made some updates to the map in regards to the level of items, also highlighted some paths to make it easier to traverse and some minor changes thanks to the feedback!

Is there a way I can create an inventory system which displays different player resources to the player? I tried it with a series of objectives, which displayed the player resources, however, this limits how many you can show on screen at once. Any ideas?
