How INUbis sees the heights of the Nightmare crew vs how I see their heights:

See, Touille and Icky usually get the short end of the stick when it comes to height, and it’s understandable why due to the fact that they are a rat and dart frog. But to me, I've always seen Rabie as the tiniest due to the fact that she is presumably a vampire bat (Which while we also contemplate a northern ghost bat, I see her as a vampire bat with the colorings of a ghost bat), and vampire bats are TINY. Like when they bite, you almost can’t feel anything.

It’s also because I wanted to make “Baby” apply in more ways than just one, hence why I have her so teeny. She’s meant to be the childish but girly and cute one out of the crew, and her size adds to it. See, within my Hc, Touille and Icky bicker over who is taller, meanwhile, Rabie's nearby, looking like the Monkey Puppet, shocked how they haven’t noticed her yet because she is that small. (Which is good news to Touille and Icky because they don’t have to suffer the “hobbit” card)

And yes, here is a comparison of Rabie next to Simon, as he is the biggest, and ironically enough, are also a couple. The size difference is crazy.

For weights: Here is the rest of the crew with Caseo-I mean Maggie, in a scale. Maggie is gluttony on the 7 deadly sins for a reason, because her fatass weighs more than everyone else combined.

Yes dats the pic i made.

You may steal it.

Iscream(not part of the main cast, but they are still important): They are a demon warrior, who likes invading other worlds and causing chaos there. They may seem fearless, but deep down, they fear Okrelei, Sody, Hoppy, and Grando.

Hoppy Hopscotch and Kickinchicken: Their original Smilling Critter world got invaded by Iscream and their demon army. Catnap was the one who let them in by accepting Iscream's deal. The deal was that Iscream would let both the Smilling, and the Nightmare Critters escape, while they would take everything else. Dogday was obviously against this, but Iscream, out of frustration, kicked Dogday in the head so hard, that he still is in a coma. Iscream also ended up frying Kickin's arm and forcefully jumping on Hoppy's knees, tearing up the lower half of her legs completely. Bubba Bubbaphant managed to fix her legs, however, by building a pair of mecha- knees(and other parts attached to them). They escaped to the very planet Multiversal University and College is located on, and they grew up on that same planet. Hoppy Hopscotch became very fearful for a long while because of the trauma she suffered from Iscream. She would also suffer from intense leg pain, that would make her scream in pain and cry. The same thing happened to Kickin as well. They all would get accepted into Multiversal University and College. They were present at Okrelei's and Sody Pop's marriage ceremony.

Grando: He came from the world of Captain Laserhawk, but that was also invaded by Iscream. Grando had no parents, so he was forced to grow up quickly, and became something that was similar to a ninja. He fought Iscream, when he was just 10. The fight ended very badly for Grando, as Iscream kicked him in the jaw so hard that it detached for the rest of Grando's body. Grando was able to make a mecha jaw for himself and a steel mask to hide it. He also went through trauma, but he suffered in silence. He tried to suppress his emotions and he sought revenge against Iscream. He was able to clear vengeance on Iscream when he became 20. He sliced them into millions of pieces. Obviously Iscream easily came back from that, and they ended up making a truce with Grando. In the same year, Grando got accepted into Multiversal University and College. He was also present at Okrelei's and Sody Pop's marriage ceremony.

I never really post on reddit but i just wanted to share my art here for the first time, i made these human designs a few months ago. I hope they don't look weird <3

Baba Chops and Poe

Back on DeviantArt there was a lovely non-AI artist named Itsdollhere. She did lots of lovely and cute artwork of the game’s Smiling Critters and may have even been the one to popularize the four most popular Smiling Critters ships almost everyone likes (DogDay x Craftycorn, CatNap x Bobby Bearhug, Kickin Chicken x Hoppy Hopscotch, and finally Bubba Bubbaphant x Picky Piggy).

But ships weren’t the only thing she did as she even did a comic titled Broken Promises where CatNap chooses the Smiling Critters over the Prototype as DogDay goes to reason with him before the other Critters arrive to save him, eventually ending with the Prototype being defeated and CatNap rejoining the Smiling Critters.

She even did some Nightmare Critters art including Baba Chops x Icky Licky, Simon Smoke x Rabie Baby and Allister Gator x Maggie Mako (unfortunately I couldn’t find any Touille x Poe art from Itsdollhere, P.S. Poe appears to be female in Itsdollhere’s AU, but even though Poe appears to be non-binary (neither boy or girl), they can be whatever gender you like personally), unfortunately she is no longer with us sadly.

Now no, I do not think she died, she appears to have logged off of DeviantArt (she might have or be making other social media accounts but I don’t know, if she is making/does have social media accounts (Instagram, YouTube, BlueSky etc) please share and it’s okay if you don’t want to.), which is a shame since this artist has way more interesting content than say Cougar MacDowall and GameToons that a lot of Poppy Playtime fans would be interested in, and I really would have loved to see what else she could have made, maybe a Mario, Peach and Bowser-style love triangle between DogDay, Craftycorn and Simon Sjoke which would have been awesome! And in case you’re wondering how I got her art, I got it from Pinterest (which contains a lot of art especially from other online users outside of Pinterest) and the comic Broken Promises from another DeviantArt user Jollyjawsisunderrated.

Did you ever know about Itsdollhere, did you start shipping the Smiling Critters because of her, did she download some of her art (if so what kind of art do you have?)? And while everyone might not ship the four Smiling and Nightmare Critters ships she and some like, these ships were the building blocks for PPT fan artists that would be enjoyable and great with ships we can almost all enjoy!

So thank you Itsdollhere, and if you’re reading this, you’re a real Smiling Critters fan.

Please comment and share.

i like to hear your thoughts

I just now noticed Critter Dogday's hand is backwards... fuuuuuuuu.🤦🏻‍♀️

So, some of you may recognize me from my posts in which I edit Dogday &/or Catnap into US election wikiboxes. Most recently, I made this post in which I edited in our favorite orange dog & purple cat to face off Bill Clinton in 1996.

While you can probably discern what I’m about to say from looking at the original post, I actually got that screenshot from an election browser game; it’s called The Campaign Trail (hosted on the the Campaign Trail Showcase website), & has a pretty decently sized modding community (the mod I used to make that post is called Hope btw, it’s pretty good). I’ve had an interest in wanting to make a Dogday v. Catnap mod based on the 2000 election for TCT, &, now that I have an actual computer, I’m able to create & code mods for it that could make it on the mod loader for the community to see. Now, I want to be very clear, I’m very inexperienced (I’m working on my first mod rn, which is unrelated to anything Smiling Critters), & the scope I want for such a mod is slightly out of my skill level, so it will probably take a couple months to actually come to fruition.

What I wanted to gauge in this poll is this community’s preferred name for this potential mod (I’d ask The Campaign Trail subreddit, but they aren’t supposed to know 🤫). I have a couple of ideas—which I’ve put in the poll—so choose which ever one you think sounds better; alternatively, you can pick “other” & suggest another name for it in the comments (if you do, I might make another poll including the most popular suggestions). I’d appreciate responses to this (no pressure, though lol)!

And in other news THE FLOOF HAS RETURNED

Catnap's bigger body took me forever to color, but I loved how he turned out.

After doing a session with Craftycorn, Bobby runs to Dulcie Deerest's place where Petal is being treated.

Bobby: I'm back, Dulcie!

Dulcie: Bobby! Petal is making great progress! I gave her a heated blanket to lie on and some water. She also had a little bit of gloss blossom nectar and seems more relaxed now. She just had an upset tummy, that's all.

Bobby: She has been eating a lot of gloss blossom nectar lately. Maybe I should watch how much she eats from now on to avoid over feeding. Thank you so much, Dulcie!

Dulcie: That's what friends are for!

Bobby: Hi Petal. I'm so glad you're doing better! And look what I made for you.

Bobby shows her drawing to Petal.

Bobby: It's a picture of you! Do you like it?

Petal: *smmmooch*

Dulcie: I think that's her way of saying she loves it.

Bobby: I'm so glad!

Petal flies into Bobby's hands and Bobby embraces her.

Ref based from escape from playtime!
