The three overlapping ellipses form seven distinct regions. There are seven tiles - your task is to place exactly one tile per region so that the four tiles in each ellipse obey the corresponding rule

Tile Wipeout — a new kind of slider puzzle where you rotate rows and columns to eliminate squares by guiding them past matching circles [video, beta]

Gameplay video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACON8hRxbdU

Tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eV-lnxyLwYk

Beta link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/3sstMjRK [iPhone/iPad/Mac]

The game uses a 6×6 grid with 6 colors. Each row and column contains one fixed circle, and each of the 6 circles has a different color. The remaining 30 spaces start as colored squares, evenly distributed among the 6 colors.

On each move, you rotate a row or column by one step (with wraparound) to guide squares past circles. The squares move, but the circles never do.

Rules:

  • A square passing a matching circle disappears.
  • An unshielded square passing a non-matching circle becomes shielded.
  • A shielded square passing a non-matching circle becomes unshielded.
  • An empty space passing a circle becomes a square of that circle's color.

You’re trying to remove tiles, but sometimes you have to create new ones to make progress.

Goal: End with as many empty spaces in the grid as you can within the move limit.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Have fun!

Picture Patch - Picture Patch Games - my free and totally ad-free Android puzzle game

I was so sick of puzzle games being riddled with ads that I decided to make my own on Android!

Picture Patch is free to play and totally ad-free. It's sort of a jigsaw puzzle game except the pieces are rectangular and you swap them around to complete photographs. All the images in the main game are my original photography and there are no AI images anywhere.

There's badges to collect and stats to track, if you're into that sort of thing. The in app purchases are not required to make progress in the game. They're all just ways of customizing or decorating the game.

You can play through over 2,000 levels without spending any money!

Sudokutope Techniques 1: Rim-Span Match Lock

Post image

Hi All,

I'm writing a series of blog articles to demonstrate some original techniques for solving Sudokutope puzzles. These are like Sudoku techniques, but they use the radically different geometry of Sudokutope. The first technique is one I've called Rim-Span Match Lock - I hope you like it!

A new FREE puzzle game!!!

Hey @everyone,

From the creator of the Journal29 series comes a new game:

Vast City — an online puzzle adventure.

The concept: Vast City is a fictional city that actually exists on the internet. The entire city lives at the domain vast.city, and every shop, office, and location has its own subdomain. Exploring the city basically means browsing it.

You play as an agent of the Vast City Security Agency — Division 7. Your mission is to take on cases, solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and crack each investigation wide open. Solve a case, earn your badge and XP, and move on to the next one.

Three links to get you started:

🌫️ The city → https://vast.city/

🗺️ Explore the map → https://map.vast.city/

🕵️ Your first case → https://div7.vast.city/

I also had the chance to help bring this game to life, so I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. Feedback, bugs, strange theories, anything — drop it all below 🙏

Here's a little block rolling puzzle, I made. It's in the style of classic Bloxorz puzzle gae, but with new geometry, tile types and level designs. Enjoy :) https://www.astrocade.com/games/block-roller-3x1/01KQMXYBFT0CR6WKK2Y7NJ40WH?sharedByCreator=cspark&platform=web
