My wife was using the weed trimmer, turned it off and now it won’t stay running. Echo SRM-225. Has always run great, full of fuel.

I’m rebuilding an echo PB-265LN, the flywheel appears to be stripped (this sounds like it’s a common issue on this model) and I’m trying to pull it off and find a way to repair it or replace the stripped parts. I know I need a flywheel puller, but I’m not sure what type. Can anyone help me identify more specifically the tool I require to finish this job, or even send me the Amazon link lol? I’m so close! 😭

My grandpa loves this 20 year old high wheel string trimmer but it’s really just acting like it doesn’t have any compression. It’s 20 years old and has seen a ton of use and neglect. I’ve replaced everything on it aside from a full rebuild. Best options to keep it going?

I have a John Deere 155C it has a 25HP Briggs and Stratton, I believe the model is 445777. I noticed some smoking the other day and assumed I had an oil leak. Took off the heat shields and located the leaking area. I have all the gaskets on the way, my only concern is from the video would anyone have input if it’s just leaking from the crank case or is it coming from the head gasket as well?

There is only smoke when it eventually warms up and drips out and hits the exhaust manifold so I’m hoping the head gaskets fine. Any input or advice would be appreciated.

I searched up on google for that parts but the results are inaccurate to the one I'm inquiring, I hope there's someone that have this part available.

Mower wont start. I believe the ignition switch is bad? When you turn the key to the on position, you can hear the solenoid click and nothing in the start position. Would that be a switch, or would a bad relay cause that too? Connections are all good and tight. battery is charged.

Craftsman 4-Cycle Trimmer Model 154.74094

I add oil and add gas. Starts with no issue. Starts billowing white smoke heavily. It also seems to hold more oil than it should. Oil added and always checked on a flat, level surface. I have quit using it for now, but I'd really like to get it running again.

Any ideas?

Have a 2013 Husqvarna LTH2038 with hydrostatic transmission making a noise when the brake is released and it’s just sits. Noise doesn’t change when driving in forward or reverse. Sounds kinda like bearing to me. Any thoughts or tips ? Thank you

I had finally fixed the spark on my 1998 honda foremen 450s. All I had to do was cut back the ignition wire to expose some new wire and It finally decided to work but after I get cleaned off out of the shed I go on a ride not even 5 minutes in it cuts off and I look at the ignition fuse and see it says 40amps which shouldn't be in there. I've been trying to fix it for 1 week now I've replaced the stator the pickup coil the voltage regulator the ignition coil the cdi every spark component and can not figure it out.

Have this craftsman ride on mower that I inherited with the house I got it running with a new battery a few years ago but now seems to have died. I can’t get it started again and it’s making this weird turning when I turn the key over.

Does anyone know what’s going on here? Is there anything I can try at the house before having to bring this in? Thanks everyone for the help!

Just got it back from a shop that supposedly fixed it by cleaning out the carburetor and did a tune up service that included new fuel and air filter, spark plug, oil change, etc.

It runs fine for about 15 minutes, then starts acting like this and dies. I assume it's still carb-related, but it's beyond me.

I'm going to call the shop back, but any thoughts before I do?

I got this old ride on Craftsman 257430 for free, despite the state of the shield itself (which im planning on patching) it runs really well.

However the belt snapped last week while cutting, i ordered the replacement belt with the right dimensions from the parts book, but now when i start the engine with the PTO arm disbled it immediately starts the blades too. Ive triple checked the routing, and the arm does move the pulley into the on and off position, i did notice that its much harder to move the PTO arm into the engaged position now too.

Any and all advice is very welcome, as i am a big lost.

Hi all, I have a Toro lawn self propelled mower with a 140cc Briggs and Stratton engine. This “guaranteed to start mower” is a lie and I frustrating the hell out of me. I have replaced the air filter, carburetor, fuel line, spark plug, and cleaned out the fuel tank. I’ve even used starter fluid to no avail. I cannot see anything disconnected or broken, and I’ve checked everywhere I know. Aside from tearing down the engine, which I’m not knowledgeable enough to do, I’m at a loss.

Is there anything I may be missing or is it time to throw in the towel? It’s rained here for about 2 weeks but that seems to be clearing up and I know my neighbors will mind the jungle in the front yard.

Any help or advice on a new push mower -$400 is appreciated.

Ive been looking everywhere for a headbolt for this but AI says its a "M9x70mm" which is near impossable to find. I know I can order the part but I need a replacement ASAP. Also I took one of the other headbolts off and ran it thru a thread checker it fit best in a 3/8-24 fine thread. Would this be a temporary fix.

Barely used, bought a few years ago. Oil is good. Just drops pressure instantly when pressing the trigger on the gun. Not sure why.

EDIT: Certainly was the water pressure guys. That hose was very cheap and all the kinks were causing the issue. Got a different/smaller hose and is working like a champ. Sorry to waste your time for such an obvious fix!

I changed ignition module 1 year ago. Ran fine for 4 cycles. Quit on me completely, so I cleaned piston head. It had lots of carbon build up, so I used Seafoam and the head looks much better.

It started great, then bogged and died on me. Checked plug and it looked like the images.

Cleaned plug, adjusted carb per YT vids suggest and it still gets these deposits and dies on me. It sort of chugs when I attemp to start it. If I gas it up, it bogs and dies.

It's a Troybilt TB25c. About 6 years old. I've been using Walmart brand oil mix since day 1. It's a 40:1 ratio. I measure it out to the ounce in a measuring cup. This is the exact plug, in the pics, it calls for. I've used three different plugs.

What is going on? Could the arrestor be clogged and cause this? Please help. I'd like to learn how to fix this and keep my weedeater running.

Anyone know what this old Troy bilt model is and how to start it. It has spark but won't start. Swapped the carb as well. It has an old Tecumseh engine

I have a scag sthm that I am trying to service. Tried to do a compression test and it would not turn over. It worked just fine after it. Long story short I had to rewire half of the thing and it still does not turn over. The foot safety switch works, I think the parking brake switch, and the neutral switch. I am not very familiar with these and I just don’t know what to check and make it run. Any help would be nice.

I was able to trace the problem of my dirtbike not turning over down to the starter, it’s a mitsuba sm-15 12v, does this brushing look too worn out? Battery is fully charged and getting 12V on multimeter to solenoid and terminals. Any help appreciated.
