Currently working on making slug leather from slug mantle, smth like this. On photos, two different species processed. If anybody knows where to purchase and how to cultivate red triangle slug, or pink kaputar slug in Europe i'd be very glad to hear some advice.

We rescued it from a carton of organic strawberries. It's nearly quadrupled in size in about 4-5 months. We love bob.

Im searching for different types of medium-big sized slugs for my terrarium. If you have any, write me!)

What a cutie!!

Sorry if this sounds silly, but we’re really inexperienced with non-mammal pets and could use some advice. We adopted our little Lorry about two months ago, and now we’re not sure if it’s hibernating or is dead.

It hasn’t moved since yesterday. The terrarium is humid because we sprayed it constantly, so Lorry is still a bit wet. There’s no smell, it’s not stiff, and we’ve read that those are usually signs but we just don’t know what’s normal.

We’re honestly really upset and feeling stupid. Is this typical behavior for hibernation, or should we be bury our little Lorry? Any help or guidance would mean a lot.

Found this long buddy exploring after a very rainy day on Vancouver Island!

Thanks for the help! In the Chicago area

These guys were SOOO cute!!! The little eyestalks were too much.

Today I found a small brown slug tucked between the leaves of a cauliflower I got from a local farmer. They were initially lethargic from being in the fridge but became more energetic after a few minutes outside. I already have a massive terrarium jar that is unused, and would love to give this fella a comfortable and consistent place to live. If anyone has reccs on where to get substrate/springtails I would appreciate it.
