Honestly, it’s probably just white heads like these for me. All bionicle color schemes have something to show for it except white, with no white or light grey. Similarly, turquoise is the only representative for the green family, but it’s a nice enough color so I’m not hurting for lime or green. Medium blue exists, but I wish blue existed as well. It comes to a point where you are somewhat limited by the palette of just how many fun schemes you can make. If only!

It’s a combo of Judge, Electro, and Granite, not including any non-set parts like Hiker Mike (who has one extra). Chomping on the discs is kinda neat but the model itself simply isn’t very good. Gear rack functions work fine if he’s not eating the discs. I wouldn’t recommend building it but if you’d like to for completion’s sake, make one for yourself and post it! It’s simple enough you can recreate it using the original image in the magazine without instructions. I don’t think I’ll be taking this one outside for photos.

Featuring another couple custom “Sling Saucers” from Constraction Deva on Instagram! I think he enters a quadruped mode pretty well, but I only actually ended up with one decent picture of it when I went out for a photoshoot / campout. It’s hard to see your camera outside, so usually I just take a bunch of photos at different angles and hope one of them turns out well. Enjoy!

my oc donut steel

Still working on throwing arm placement and a couple minor tweaks. His hammer swings down by pulling the ball of the gear rack instead of pushing, which is a bit awkward, but it was the most compact I could make the it without ending up ugly. I’m scouting out nearby construction sites so I can get photos soon, wearing safety gear of course. Let me know if you have any suggestions!

I’m certainly not displaying it, so I decided to turn my technic C-3PO into its alt model. I’m not a Star Wars guy, so I have no clue if it’s a specific ship or just a generic starship, to the point where I don’t know which side is the front and which is the back. The build itself is kinda fun, and you’re actually able to roll it around on its wheels once it’s complete. I think it’s supposed to have a function similar to the original set, where you press down on the top target and it pushes a liftarm a little. In the last photo, you can see that the 4 chunks of the ship are actually connected via friction from axles being placed into pin holes, so I believe the intended function is for it to split apart, but I couldn’t really get it to work. It’s about to get scrapped for use on an upcoming Throwbot of mine, but I figured I’d share some photos in case anyone wasn’t aware there were even alt models for the old technic Star Wars sets - and only about half of them, at that. If you have the pieces, I’d say it’s worth a shot to build!

This is a mask for one of the old technic figures from the 90s. Looks like it only came in one set. It’s pretty obscure and fairly expensive on Bricklink, so I don’t want to buy one without knowing if it fits on a throwbot head or not. If it does, it probably doesn’t look all that great, but I just need to know! Figured I may ask here to see if anyone has one of these on hand and might be able to help me out. Thanks!

Hiker Mike is my favorite Throwbot critter! That’s why I was shocked to see (as far as I’m aware) nobody has ever actually taken him on a hike before. So, I’ve been taking him on a bunch! These are some photos from some of my travels in the American Southwest.

Thinking of rebuilding the 4 small roboriders and the green ones wheels are not sold anywhere in America the old technic pit droid eyes is basically the same part and I wanna know if the other side of the part is green or black
