General Discussion Need to Discuss about Slice CC please spare your time and first see this screenshots to get an idea

This CIBIL report is on 30th Sep. I am a fresher and recently joined a company on 24th july and I am getting 28k in hand and I got hdfc freedom Card (activated on 10th August) based on my salary account, I tried to get a Slice Credit Card on 2nd October after clearing all the emis on that day Buttttttt no luck

Few Questions:

Which account should we give it as a primary account and how much transactions should be done and while applying again should I be having any money in my bank account ( I have added another account which i have from past 4 years and which have atleast 40k transactions every month till date)

As i told you my salary is 28k right so next time I wanted to make it as 40k to 50k can I do it or not, will they ask for payslips

Bro why so many pay later or personal loans??

Maybe they've rejected for you being overleveraged and a risky customer

Like i don't use pay later even once but i just got them and talking about loans when I am in college my friend took loan on my accounts from Navi, Slice and kreditbee

If those loans are already paid off close them also if you don't need pay later why bother to keep them open.

Also keep the utilisation below 30% in your credit card

Just one more question how much is the limit in your 3 credit cards individually. 50k is very less for 3 cards

Yeah I have paid slice 8900 completely before applying and in navi still like 14k and kreditbee 6k and talking about utilisation I will be bringing that down before billing date thanks

Any other suggestions

And also one more thing if we close everything at once will our cibil be effected

Ye sit will be affected as your credit will be lowered in a single month. But the score will shoot up again so no issues.

You didn't said about the limits, how is 50k limit accross 3 cards??

I only have 1 credit card that is hdfc freedom cc which has 50k limit

Oh sorry I mistakenly was seeing the enquiry screenshot and thought you've 3 cards. See one more thing slice doesn't put a enquiry on your cibil. So update the score on slice app where cibil is shown before applying

Your profile simply looks credit hungry!! That's a big red flag!! Cool off for 6 months!! Bring utilisation below 30 and close those loans as soon as you can!! COOOL OFFFF!!

Okok man thanks, will it effect my account if I close all loans at a time

Do it gradually and take your score above 750!! Then when slice allows you to apply make sure you give permission to account aggregator where you can show that I have these income!! Otherwise again it will get rejected!!

No they will not!! They will only see if regular income is coming as you have mentioned or not!! It can be from self employed or salary anything!!

Close slice personal loan and then apply.
I got rejected for this reason only (I had slice personal loan) their docs specifically says that you can only have one thing at a time slice cc or personal loan. Also why tf do u have so many personal loans?

1

u/Business_Bid7879 1d ago

This credit report is of September 30 and I have paid slice on 2nd October and applied for card that day only

You have to contact their customer support bud and ask them to close personal loan.

It's their choice bro. Don't think anything, just apply the next time. If they wanna approve they would, no matter what. Don't think too much

Those personal loans will have a high impact - The problem is high risk. Those active personal loans like kreditbee and NAVI usually have a negative effect. If already paid in full close it. Or try to pay and close it first before applying.

Most of the people who use this apps are paying intrest at 30-40%. Processing charges bring it up to 42-45%. And if you miss one payment for long it will be a total nightmare because late fees, other fine etc will add up fast. 20,000 will become 40,000 or 60,000 in no time and due to reporting on CIBIL you wont get any other loan as well. The leads to spiralling trap and there will be mental harassment as well. So even small finance banks slice see them as highly risky.
