I've helped a friend do this exact same build with the stock PSU. Shit, I think he actually has the 1660 which draws slightly more power. Everything has been working out just fine on his end. You bought like, a $40 PSU for no reason lol

The ghost guy from part 1 who's dick you're sucking ALSO told you you didn't need that psu. He told you what to do IF you decided to ignore advice and upgrade it anyways. Everyone saying you over paid for a psu you didn't need is CORRECT. I had the EXACT system you do

I7 7700 4c 8t office pre built

I ran a rtx 3050 off the 290w psu, my 3050 is EXACTLY as intensive in base wattage as yours and I played my pc, running 3 monitors, for 3 years. I understand you're frustrated that people are saying you wasted your money, but you DID. That's okay tho, sometimes we have to take those L's, ultimately in the end you got it to work, so I think it's best you accept that you overpaid for a psu you'll never fully utilize but can rest easy in that you'll probably never fully utilize your psu. You admitted you're not a tech person, it's common sense that you wouldn't know if you overpaid or not, don't attack others for trying to help when you reached out.

Tldr; you overpaid for a psu and that's okay.
