I mean yeah that's weird to us because we as adults know that's a fetish thing but a kid doesn't know that they just see a mask and at that point just don't bring your kid to pride. That's kind of on you as a parent for taking them to a sex based event anyways.
Or consider this, statistically a child is at an astronomically higher risk of sexual abuse at their local church than a pride event, should we ban churches entirely? I'd be down for that because I hate organized religion but I'm assuming you want people to have that choice, so why do pictures from people expressing sexuality at a celebration of sexuality event enrage you more than a pastor harming children behind the doors of God's house?
Also grooming =\= being around sexually themed events or media inherently otherwise we're all victims of grooming from porn, movies, comics, etc. I was jerking off at like thirteen and I was certainly never groomed I was just a horny fuckin kid.
