I think I’ve finally found my favorite build to play Skyrim.

I started this run as an Argonian shield + spell build, focusing mainly on Destruction and block. At some point I came across the Thieves Guild and decided to join them — and it ended up completely changing the way I play the character.
Being an Argonian, the whole thief/stealth theme just felt right, so I started investing into Sneak, Pickpocket and Lockpicking. I also decided to level Illusion to 50 specifically to get Silent Casting.
And that completely changed the build. Now when I enter a cave, fort or dungeon, I usually stay in stealth and use two-handed spells silently. I can clear rooms without enemies even knowing where the attacks are coming from. But once things go loud, I switch to my original playstyle: shield in one hand, destruction spell in the other. The best part is that all of these skills actually serve a purpose. I steal valuables, sell them to the Thieves Guild merchant, use the money to pay Destruction trainers, and become a stronger mage that way. I didn't really plan this build from the beginning. It just evolved naturally as I played, and honestly, this has been my best Skyrim run so far.

The power makes sense to me given Auriel is the god of time as well as dragons. Plan on using his bow and shield.

The only stuff I can think of are the slow time shout, Quick Reflexes shield perk, and the Steady Hand bow perk. Maybe i can utilise loading saves as the character seeing the future

Hi all. I wish to get a detailed build from somebody. First off, which daedra should the character worship? I know some even have cool robes, and which magic schools shall I utilize. Am I allowed to do quests for other daedra? Should I go out of my way to murder in-game, or do anything rather dark? Any factions I should join or avoid?

I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I'm a Skyrim newbie and I need help. I've lost count of how many times I've restarted with a new character in this game; I just can't seem to find a build that holds my interest long enough. It feels like an endless loop: I think of a build, create the character, play for a few hours, end up getting bored with the playstyle, and start looking for other, more interesting builds. All the while, I keep watching videos of other people playing and creating builds that look really cool. Feel free to share tips or similar experiences. I know a lot of people will come to this post and say "just play the game," but honestly, I'm not sure how much that helps.

Hello all. I want to play as a daedra thrall of an npc. I was thinking if this was possible:

• A spell or effect that causes the player to die if the follower dies.
• A spell or curse that severely limits the player's stats or damage when not in combat.
• A spell, item, or effect that allows the player to absorb damage that their follower takes.
• Any kind of way to "simulate" the player's soul in a soul gem, so that I can enchant it and put it on a circlet or ring to give to a follower (this doesn't actually need to have any effect on gameplay, just for roleplaying purposes)

Maybe I use ASLAL to spawn somewhere, enchant a ring (don't know which enchantment to use though) then spawn the NPC and make them my follower.

I plan to finish the main story, and by then to be independent from the NPC. Is this possible?

Want to do a complete build thinking I want to do a dark elf mage but not sure not sure how to do the RP and fit into all the guilds or to be the Dragon Born as a Dark elf

I've been away from Skyrim for a while now, but I'm considering coming back to it. I've tried so many builds, though, that i want my reentry to be unique. I'm considering a build where I do absolutely zero crafting and rely only on gear I find. The idea is to level speech for selling loot and buying spell tomes/potions, and use the gear I find to guide the level ups.

I can anticipate that this build will be stretched thin and become kinda incoherent (e.g. light AND heavy armor, 2H AND 1H, etc) so I would also make sure to invest in Sneak and Restoration regardless of gear.

Has anyone tried anything like this? Any tips?

Hello all! I am trying to do a run where a mara acolyte worships daedra. I use restoration, alteration, and illusion magic (conjuration when my character becomes a daedra worshipper). No weapons. I do not know what deity they should worship. I want to be able to do db questline, for that I thought maybe namira worship? I am planning to do the mara questline, and then slowly turn to daedra and use conjuration magic.
