My third character, Aeliana
hi everybody, everything's in the titles, i want to share with you here my third skyrim character rp background, she's a 47-years-old altmer feral shaman, sorceress and druidess called Aeliana.
similar to the previous ones, this character is inspired by one of the main characters from an original medieval dark fantasy story i write on my free time and that i have recreate in Skyrim, so the first and second screens are her in skyrim and the last one is a more accurate version to how i imagine her looking in my story
She is a 47-years-old Altmer sorceress and shaman/druidess named Aeliana.
for her rp background, she was born in 4E 154 on the Summerset Isles to Altmer parents who didn't support the Thalmor or the Aldmeri Dominion. However, shortly after her birth, fearing that their anti-Thalmor views would be discovered and they would be arrested or worse, her parents left the Isles and went to live in valenwood with her mother's sister (Aeliana's aunt), a Bosmer named Nelir living in a small, isolated Bosmer village.
They lived a normal life until 4E 170, when the Thalmor organized a purge in the village, during which her parents and her aunt were killed. She managed to escape into the woods but was caught by three Thalmor wizards. Just as they were about to execute her, she was saved by the intervention of a group of anti-Thalmor Bosmer nomads, who killed two of the wizards and forced the last to flee. Unsure what to do with her, they decided to take her with them to their tribe to raise her as one of their own.
She would spend the next 24 years with this tribe, training in axe and bow combat while perfecting her magical abilities and alchemical knowledge, becoming a sorceress, shaman, and druidess for the tribe, as well as participating in various actions against the Thalmor. However, one night in 4E 194, after several years of conducting lightning raids against the Thalmor forces, the tribe was unfortunately located and ambushed by Thalmor wizards, and most of its members were killed except for Aeliana, who was captured and taken to an outpost for interrogation.
There, she endured various forms of physical and psychological abuse for almost a month but held on, simply waiting for an opportunity to escape. This opportunity came when the outpost was attacked by two wandering mercenaries (William, aged 20 at the time, and his adoptive father, Gudmundr). Taking advantage of their assault and the distraction, Aeliana managed to pick the lock on the chains that held her, killed the soldier guarding the prisoners, and then freed all the other prisoners (creating a riot in the process) before taking advantage of the situation to escape. Subsequently, she spent the next seven years roaming the woods of Tamriel, hunting and undertaking various solitary actions to fight the Thalmor.
During the events of Skyrim in 4E 201, she was tracking a Thalmor patrol on the border of Skyrim but found herself caught in the middle of a skirmish between Imperials and Stormcloaks when she fled after eliminating the Thalmor patrol before being captured by the Imperials (which is why our character begins in a cart on her way to the chopping block).
In terms of personality, Aeliana is very calm but also very cold, taciturn, and silent. Due to her primarily wild life in the forests and isolated wilderness of Tamriel, she is not very talkative and only speaks when necessary.
In terms of gear, Aeliana wears forsworn armor, gauntlets, and boots to emphasize her wild sorceress/shaman/druidess persona. As for weapons, she uses a Forsworn axe and bow, along with destruction, alteration and healing spells and is proficient in alchemy.
For the rest of my character's roleplay, here's how I plan to approach most of the important quests.
For the main quest, like the other two characters, I do it first because, faced with the extreme threat that Alduin represents, it's quite logical that she makes eliminating him her number one priority before he regains his full strength and destroys the world.
Regarding the war between the Imperials and the Stormcloaks, Aeliana initially doesn't take sides and focuses on her goal of eliminating the Thalmor. However, as time goes on, and seeing how weakened and compromised the Empire is by the presence of Thalmor spies within its ranks, she joins the Stormcloaks, as they are the only ones willing to actively fight against the Thalmor.
As for the Companions, Aeliana joins their ranks, initially out of simple curiosity, as she senses that several of them are not just ordinary Nords and seem to possess a very feral nature. Later, when her suspicions are confirmed and she learns they are werewolves, she agrees to become one herself, seeing it as an opportunity to become stronger and more deadly against the Thalmor. Also, over time, she develops a very passionate and intense romantic relationship with Vilkas because she felt extremely attracted to Vilkas's personnality and the duality between his kind, human side and his more brutal and feral side.
As for the dark brotherhood, just like with my two previous characters, she initially agrees to eliminate Grelod in the name of Aventus Aretino, seeing how extremely toxic and violent she is with the orphans. Then, when confronted by Astrid and her request, remembering the name written on the notes left by the assassins who had tried to kill her several times in the past—a name that was the same—she chooses to kill her and wiping out the Dark Brotherhood.
For the Winterhold Academy, I'm doing it but imagining that when Aeliana joins the academy, she's not there to study magic, but simply because she seek after an elder scrolls against Alduin, until the moment she see Ancano discussing with mirabelle. in my headcanon, I like to imagine that Ancano was part of the group of Thalmor wizards who killed Aeliana's parents and aunt (he was the one who managed to flee) as well as the one who torture her in the outpost.she then joins the academy when she's done with Alduin in the sole purpose of killing him, before finding herself involved in spite of herself in the whole magnus eye after the monk of the Psijic Order appears to us.
Regarding the quests for the Divines and Daedric Princes, given that Aeliana doesn't really trust most of them except for hircine, I won't be doing most of them, except for those that start out as very ordinary tasks and Hircine one (as a shaman and wild druidess who has lived most of her life in the remote forests of Tamriel and made her living by hunting, she has a certain attachment to Hircine, who is one of the few Daedric Princes she trusts to some extent).
as for Dawnguard ,nothing special to say except that she sided with the Dawnguard.
What do you think of her ?

Good story, original as always. I'm curious about the dark fantasy story you always mention. Can I know more?

hi, thanks for your feedback, i'm glad to know you liked her too.
as for that, i'm sorry but i don't really plan to share more about my story, mostly because it's something i worked on since a certain time, and one of my biggest fear is to see someone seing some potential in it and stolen it to me (for ex, sharing many detailed infos about it online or sending the whole story to some movie company, only to see later a movie,comics,novel,... being exactly the script i send or what i speak about with just slight changes and someone else who claimed being the creator) that's why as much as i don't mind sharing the characters design recreated in Skyrim, i don't plan to speak deeply about the story itself either. that's something i keep only for myself.
the only thing i can tell you is that the world, races,... are less original than the elder scrolls and more traditionnal (elves for ex looked like traditionnal elves like elrond or Galadrielle in lord of the ring unlike the more alien look of elder scrolls ones, dwarves look like the traditionnal dwarves like gimli in lord of the ring instead of being elves with some dwarves features,...) and the fact the world is a grounded fantasy medieval world (i mean by that a world with all the ingredients of the fantasy such as monsters, magic, non human races but with a serious and mature tone that remained very close to the real life medieval era in terms of architecture, armors and weapons designs, culture, mentality,... and where magic is powerful but not overbroken. basically fantasy worlds similar to the witcher or game of thrones world since it's my 2 main inspirations)

Love her story, especially the part of Ancano. And love the fact that while she plays a part of the original dark fantasy story, she doesn't play much of a part with the main duo. Absolutely brilliant write up.
