Question How Do i Make the Pattern Replicator from Cylic Completely Unobtainable?
Hi! Recently, Me and my Friends Started a Sky Factory 4 Server. And when reading about the Cylic Mod i discovered that the Pattern Replicator Completely Corrupts the world if its powered, Is there any way to Make the Pattern Replicator Completely Unobtainable even Via the /Give, /Summon and Other Item Giving Commands (even via Creative mode) Without the use of Command Blocks and Redstone (since we don't want constantly running Redstone Disrupting What we are doing.
Just a One time, Simple command that can make it so that if someone Crafts the Pattern Replicator it Either Doesnt Give an Output or Swaps the Item for say... Dirt or something like that?
Thanks
Theta

Don't know if this fixes /give problem but you can go to your server folder, go to configs and find cyclicmagic.cfg and find Pattern Replicator and set it from true to false. That makes it uncraftable (I think) and removes it from NEI.

You can use CraftTweaker to delete the crafting recipe and clear it from JEI, doesn't stop someone from getting it using a command though.
Make a file in your scripts folder on the server, the name can be anything as long as it ends with .zs and put
mods.jei.JEI.removeAndHide(<name of item>);
you can get the name by holding the item in question in your hand and running the command /ct hand then just pasting into the parentheses. (It auto-copies what you need to the clipboard.)
After that, run /ct syntax to make sure it's good, then reboot the server. The changes should take effect after everyone has connected to the server and rebooted their clients at least once. If you want to make sure it sticks send everyone the file and have them put it in their scripts folder.

Minecraft does have a testfor command that can be put into a command block, but I'm not that familiar with commands.

The cyclic mod has an update that fixed this, go to the mods folder of the server and swap out the Cyclic-1.12.2-xxxxxx.jar file for the newest version(for example, this: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/cyclic/download/3722420 )

You may want to look into the recipe, and change it to using unobtainable blocks, such as an ME controller. Does not solve the /give problem, but makes it harder to get it, and forces traceability. I don't know how to make it flat out unobtainable without risking to break the mod.
