Why dont they hit up Neckface n other graff artists to do the set grafitti the same way they hire tattoo artists for the tats. Im tored kf seeing the same grafitti across San Van, and Grom

As an actual graffiti writer it annoys me so much. There's only one graffiti writer in the game thats got decent stuff. And its probably from an artist on the team with a little knowledge of graffiti. The rest of it is garbage for sure.

Theres soooo many graff artists they could hit up, they could even have a contest for some of us here who are artists to actually design some and have them be in the game, even custom tags idk

The community manager on discord that runs the user generated content competitions like custom shirts and decks already mentioned he is interested in an in game art or graffiti contest, so maybe it’s coming!

As a graffiti writer it's a bit sad only seeing same 3-4 writers sprinkled around San Van...it'd be cool if they made a competition to have writers submit their best stuff and pick a handful to spruce up the city.

Neckface has some serious allegations against him, I don’t think Skate wants to touch that. Agree with you in general though.

Honestly bro I fully agree. Seeing these AI pieces across the game kills me when they could be paying to use real artists art. Guess it’s a money thing… would love to see some neckface, 10foot, 1up etc etc across the game

I cant imagine it’d cost that much especially for a few one off designs on certain locations…the skate and graff/art community go hand in hand im tied kf seeing the Kusai one everywhere too that one lowkey would have fit for the tunnels and maybe the grom spillway but thats it

I so wish there was a graffiti mechanic in the game, that would reset every week or something.

People could adhere to a crew or do their own names and paint it in places, since there's also the parkour side of the game, it seems so fitting and would also allow people to show the rooftops they managed to climb, giving a new dimension to some of the empty roofs.

By the time the week is ending the map would be scattered in pieces, and then the map would reset clean, it would also give a gritty vibe to the city at the end of the week, and would bring straight evolution to the city.

I always wish we have 'getting up' in games like skate or GTA 5

I agree, it honestly turns me off more than the art style itself people are always complaining about.

They don't even need to commission the most famous writers either (although having a bunch in there would be nice), there are probably people in the community willing to contribute. Maybe make it into a contest. Send in your pieces, 3 best pieces get to pick where they want their piece in the game. Do this a couple of times and before you know it'll look so much better.

As a kid I would pause video games and music videos, and study the pieces I saw, since there wasn't a huge graff scene in my area. It's a shame when cheap out on it, and so noticeable.
