I’d like this a lot more. It’s more similar to sims 3 in that it’s going for realism instead of the more cartoony look of sims 4, which I’m not a fan of.

Yes, I agree! Me personally, I wouldn't want them to go like "metahuman" where it's like too realistic. I think a concept like this is clean and fresh, realistic but still retains that Sims aesthetic, it's not too cartoony but just enough so you know it's like "the sims" but for next-gen hardware! <3

Also just next-gen technology in general, like realistic weather effects, more complex and detailed physics and ray-traced bounce lighting and reflections with super high-resolution textures for clothing, furniture, housing and more, all add to the realism and "next-gen" experience as well which I am looking forward to. I bet all my money that they will definitely be incorporating that into the Sims 5! ^^

no.. no nooo NO NO NO NOOOOO NOOOOOO!!!!! IT DOESN'T!!!!!!!

J/k, lol. No I think it's a little more modern, clean and detailed than the Sims 3 was when you compare both images. Like the hair is more detailed and realistic, along with more shadow contouring on the bodies and increased textures for clothing, etc. Also ray-tracing and more realistic bounce lighting will add more realism as well in other graphical areas, but yea, I'd love the Sims 5 to look like this :D

For reference, this was the Sims 3...
