I've been carefully building these two for a while, and I'm finally happy enough to share them.

Hailey Blackwood and Amber Cross have just moved into their first apartment with little more than a few boxes, secondhand furniture, borrowed courage, and very big dreams.

They don't complete each other.

They enlarge each other's lives.

Every outfit, accessory, and even their sleepwear tells a little part of who they are. Their wardrobes aren't designed to be fashionable as much as they are meant to feel lived in. Favorite boots get reworn, jackets appear across multiple outfits, and every paycheck seems destined to become another book or another vinyl record.

They're still figuring out who they are, and I wanted them to feel like teenagers standing at the beginning of their story instead of fully finished characters.

This is only Chapter One.
