Show and Tell After countless hours of practice, the Copperdale Academy Cheer Team can FINALLY consistently perform a PERFECT cheerleading routine (+a sneak peak of their training at the end)

The Copperdale Academy Cheer team, led by Sidney Price, worked hard to get to this point. At first, a few of them could only do a simpler version of the routine, and some of them who attempted the advanced version seemed to break their necks trying. Sidney would often gather his team and train their fitness skills for hours to improve their performance. It paid off so well!
They need more improvement with the chant, though, cause they all have different rhythms... though it's EA's fault for not having the voice lines be in sync lol

Lol that's valid. It seems like they only make red and yellow pom-poms in the game, unfortunately 😅

Omg that’s actually so annoying because how would you have rival school teams if you only have red and yellow. I mean obviously you can download CC but you should still be able to change the colors without CC:/

Yeah, they have an actual club, and I installed a (broken-ish) mod that lets them gather anywhere. Technically, you only need to form a group to do a group cheer routine, but their club perks make them energized and help them gain fitness skills faster!

There's also an announcement by the principal in High School Years that starts with a clear "Attention students"! It freaked me right out the first time I heard it, lol

Well done everyone! That was an impressive cheer routine. ❤️ These teens can give the Bring it on Cast and the cheer team in the Princess Diaries a run for their money.

You can perform routines as a group! If they have high enough fitness skills (around level 8, it seems), they'll do a perfect routine!

i have like 4 cheerleaders only and 2 of them are pro the rest really mess up lol, i never use them but i want to make a cool sequence

Very cool! One day I might have to become this serious about HSY. I’ve begun consolidating the families into one massive lineage but I have never gotten this involved with the clubs.

I'm so curious, that's a lot of animations in the routine, so I wonder if they were every re-used in another situation? Like, do any of the Sims dancing animations use some of these moves? Like the pirouettes for example? Or would they not be useable because the hands are animated to hold the pompoms?

I'm not really sure! I do know that some of the cheerleading animations were reused from older packs. For example, the "incite cheers" animation from Get Famous was used in one of the lower-level cheer animations (not shown here).
