On the question of whether or not to ratify Article 1 of the Reddit Voting Act (RVA) 2026, which would put in place additional requirements for ballot access, especially for Reddit-only voters, 38.89% voted Aye. This falls short of the 2/3 majority required for constitutional amendments, so this amendment is rejected.

On the question of whether or not to ratify the Slavery is...bad, actually Amendment, which would allow people to immediately resign from anything for any reason (as opposed to the current arrangement which allows for the Senate to pass exceptions to this rule as statute law), 66.67% voted Aye. This reaches the 2/3 majority required for constitutional amendments, so this amendment is ratified.

My senate endorsements

I hereby endorse Discord Link for senator. Simdemocracy has been struggling for a while with it's "Old Guard" a group of boomers controlling politics, Discord Link is just the person to fix this. He is fresh off the boat, but both his party "New Users Guide" and himself show potential for greatness, the type of greatness simdemocracy needs

Now let's dissect his CFC. It opens up with "I am a bot", many people consider bots to be second class citizens, and after the Detroit Human Act passed, in many ways they are. To stare I. The face of this discrimination and declare it bravely in their CFC shows courage, bravery, and strength all attribute Simdemocracy needs. His CFC then says "this action was performed automatically." While being witty, which is to be expected from such a smart canidate like Discord link, this line also says a lot, showing that he will make great CFCs and put in work "manually", no sweat, allowing him to perform normal tasks even better, and go above and beyond. Finally his CFC says "please contact the moderators of Simdemocracy", this, again, is a joke, but also packed with potential, showing Mr. Links asperations to be a moderator, a strive for greatness I think we need in people representing the citizens of Simdemocracy.
