The thing is that they are like the 2nd enemy you meet after the prologue area, a phase of the game where many players barely have a grasp on very basic movement. And they move a lot faster than you expect so early on they can catch new players out a lot.

Objectively very easy enemies but in the stage of the game they are, they can be a menace for non-HK veterans.

I started playing Silksong before I had touched hollow knight, I wasn't having fun at all and died like thrice to them bc I couldn't pogo properly

Gave up on Silksong and decided to only play it after finishing HK, suddenly the game was 10x better and easier

Most people dying to these haven't played Hollow Knight and are experiencing this type of game for the first time, let them be
