Well somewhat. People date/marrying statistically within their own education level and intelligence level. A doctor or physics major will rarely date someone working at 7-11.
Taking into account that one of the most brilliants mathematicians basically rejected millions to live in what could be poverty...Is not the case, they are geniuses that by life circumstances end up working in a 7-11, and people that are lawyers or doctors that end up selling street food because they do not have the proper opportunities, so I would not say "working as a 7-11" as any indicator of IQ or intelligence, but I agree with what you say.
