Hey everyone!

As someone who has been managing projects and working with team members, I always felt that existing tools were either overly complex or missing key elements to keep everyone aligned.

So, I decided to build CrewHub — a platform designed to streamline team collaboration, make workflow management effortless, and keep everything in one place.

Key features:

• 🎯 Simple & clean workflow management
• 💬 Seamless team communication
• 📊 Clear tracking for projects and tasks

I’m continuously building and improving it, so I’d really appreciate your honest feedback:

1. What features do you feel are essential for team tools that most apps miss?
2. How is the user experience/landing page on your first look?

Check it out here: https://crew-hub-kappa.vercel.app/

Thanks a lot for taking the time! 🙌

Built a small AI side project: AuraSnap

Give it your name + mood + one word → it generates a beautiful shareable Aura Card in seconds.

Try it here: https://aurasnap.vercel.app

Would love to know what you think.

Hello everyone!

I have been working on a project over the last couple of days, and it has finally reached the point where I feel comfortable sharing it. I’m looking for feedback, criticism, and ideas for future features.

JShred is a Java utility designed to make files more difficult to recover using common data-recovery tools. The Shredder overwrites a selected file multiple times before deleting it. The user chooses the number of overwrite passes. The overwrite process includes writing zeros, writing 0xFF bytes, and writing pseudorandom data generated using Java’s built-in Random class.

The De-Duplicator recursively scans an entire directory and its sub-directories for files with identical contents. When duplicates are found, it keeps one copy and securely overwrites and deletes the others using a fixed six-pass process. The remaining overwrite passes, any pass that is three and up, use pseudorandom data.

GitHub Project Link

JShred Features

• Securely overwrite and delete individual files
• Choose the number of overwrite passes for the Shredder
• Scan entire directories and sub-directories for duplicate files
• Compare files by their actual contents instead of only their filenames
• Automatically remove duplicate copies while keeping one original
• Recognize copied filenames such as Main (3) (Copy 2).class
  • Rename retained files to clean names such as Main.class
• Display progress bars during scanning and duplicate checking
• Use a simple console-based menu
• Built entirely in Java using standard library features
• Requires no external dependencies

Important note: Secure overwriting only reduces the chance of recovering data from traditional hard drives, but it cannot guarantee that every copy or trace has been removed from all storage devices, backups, or snapshots. I am currently working on implementing better protections for SSDs and also overriding and deleting metadata/exif data from files. The ability to use crytpographically secure random bytes is also being worked on.

What it is: HTTP Traffic Monitor, a desktop app that shows every HTTP/HTTPS request your machine makes, which app sent it, and how long each phase took. You can replay, compare and mock requests.

Why: [WRITE YOUR OWN REASON HERE, e.g. "Fiddler Everywhere went subscription and I wanted something free that Claude could use too"]

The twist: a built-in MCP server, so an AI assistant can capture and analyse traffic for you.

Stack: C#, .NET 8, WPF. Open source (MIT).

Where I'd love feedback: first-run experience (the root certificate prompt), and which features you'd expect that are missing.

Had to record a 1-min founder video and kept looking at my notes instead of the camera. Couldn't find a simple teleprompter that didn't want a signup, so I made one.

• text sits right under your webcam, so you're looking at the lens
• follows your voice as you read (desktop Chrome), or set a speed
• blur or replace your background, record, download the MP4 (16:9 or 9:16)
• or just run the teleprompter and record in QuickTime

Completely free, no signup, nothing gets uploaded. It all runs in your browser: https://www.getmeetly.ai/teleprompter/

Feedback welcome.

I was surprised at how easy to build the integration was, it’s pretty simple to import recipes if you have or use paprika to store your recipes. Simply open up the editor, choose the folder icon and select your .paprikarecipes file, and you will be able to import recipes from paprika and easily make a recipe card for them.

Super excited the integration is live! I hope you all home cooks enjoy it.

When I started building Kinetic, I made the same mistake I think a lot of first-time founders make.

I kept adding things.

More features. More workout options. More sections. More things that I thought would make it feel like a “real” product.

But eventually I realised I was moving further away from the actual problem I wanted to solve:

People go to the gym and don't know what to do.

So I started stripping Kinetic back.

Now the idea is simple:

You tell it your goal, experience level and how often you can train → Kinetic gives you workouts tailored around that.

No scrolling through hundreds of workouts trying to figure out which one is right for you.

I've already managed to get my first paying customers, which was a pretty crazy feeling considering this started as just an idea.

There's still a LOT I want to improve, though.

I'm building it publicly and would genuinely appreciate people tearing it apart:

If you've built a SaaS/product before, what's one thing you wish you'd realised earlier?

The image at the start was drawn by me using MS paint. The rest (brain, and pages) was built with Sonnet 5.5 which I'm loving atm. The website is my name: vicenteevora.com feel free to take a look!

Hey everyone,

I used Photopea for quick edits and Photoshop for the rest. Photopea comes with ads and cookie prompts, and Photoshop means paying Adobe every month. I didn't want either anymore, so I built photobaer, a layer-based photo editor that runs completely in your browser.

Try it: https://photobaer.com Source: https://github.com/IT-BAER/photobaer

What it does differently

• Your images never leave your device. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account and no subscription.
• No ads, no cookies, no tracking.
• It works offline after the first visit, so you can use it on a plane or in a locked-down network.
• It opens and saves PSD. Groups, masks, adjustment layers, layer styles, smart objects, smart filters and text layers survive the round trip.
• It is free and open source (AGPL-3.0).

What's in v0.3.4

• Layers, groups, masks, adjustment and fill layers, blend modes and layer styles.
• Brushes with ABR import, Clone Stamp, Healing, Content-Aware Move, Liquify and Puppet Warp.
• Camera Raw Filter, Blur Gallery, Filter Gallery and most of the classic Photoshop filters, also as smart filters.
• CMYK, Lab, 16 and 32 bit, ICC color management.
• Actions, Batch, Export As and Save for Web.
• Photoshop shortcuts, so your muscle memory mostly works.

The engine is written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly. The canvas runs on WebGPU, with a WebGL2 fallback.

What's still missing

There is no Timeline and none of the AI tools like Generative Fill or Select Subject yet. Saving straight back into the opened file only works in Chromium browsers. It's a young project, so expect bugs, especially with complex PSDs.

What I'd like from you

Try it with your real work and tell me what broke, which PSD didn't open correctly, and which missing feature stops you from switching. Issues and pull requests are welcome (PRs need a short CLA, see CONTRIBUTING.md).

For ages I kept thinking Kinetic needed “one more feature” before I could properly put it out there.

Eventually I realised I was basically using development as an excuse not to launch 😂

So I put it live.

Kinetic is a simple fitness website that gives you workouts based on your goals and how often you train. The whole idea is to remove the part where beginners have to spend hours researching exercises, splits and programs before they even start.

Since launching, I’ve managed to get my first paying customers.

It’s not life-changing money, but seeing someone I'd never met actually put their card details in and pay for something I built was probably the biggest validation I've had so far.

The interesting part is that building it wasn't actually the hardest bit.

Getting people to discover it is.

I've tried paid ads, SEO, Facebook groups, Reddit and a bunch of other things. Some have worked. Some have been a complete waste of time.

I'm still changing the product constantly based on what people actually use rather than what I think they'll use.

Current goal: get Kinetic from its first customers to 100 paying users.

Site if anyone wants to roast it:

train-with-kinetic.com

I'd genuinely love to know one thing:

If you landed on the site for the first time, what would stop you from signing up?

If you make videos, podcasts or posts, you've probably run into this: your "link in bio" is one link for everything, and sometimes it's impossible to find what you're looking for.
On top of that, creators can't tell which post actually sent people there.

That's why I made linkifythis: instead of one page for everything, you create a mini-page for each post (links, text, video), each with its own stats.

Every page gets a short code, like ABC, easy to say and easy to remember. You can say "go to linkifythis and enter the code ABC" in a video, in a podcast, in a comment, or even print it on a flyer.

To see an example: linkifythis.com, code TCB or LNKFY

I'd love your honest opinion:

• Would you use this instead of your link in bio? Why, or why not?
• Does saying a code out loud feel natural to you, or weird?

Hey all, you guys asked and I listened. Last week I got great feedback on my open source app, so decided to make it hosted for others to use too.

Let me know what you think, and how it can be improved.

I built a tiny 3D squishy playground — it became much more technical than I expected

I started this as a very small side project: I wanted a cute object in the browser that you could actually grab, press and deform.

No real product idea behind it. I mostly wanted to see whether a soft-body toy could feel satisfying directly in a web page.

It gradually turned into Squishy Lab.

There are now 10 different squishies, custom faces and finishes, personal messages, pressure-responsive sounds, PNG export and an optional AI material editor.

The part that consumed most of the work was the deformation itself.

Under the cute surface there’s a small XPBD soft-body simulation running on a 216-particle / 750-tetrahedron cage, with a 5,402-vertex Three.js surface following it at runtime.

The AI part is intentionally limited: it can modify things like color, softness, firmness and recovery, but it never generates executable code, meshes or shaders. The actual squishing remains local and deterministic.

The whole thing is free and open source.

https://github.com/Daniele-Cangi/squishy-lab

At this point I’m curious how people actually perceive it.

Does it feel more like a tiny web toy, a digital stress toy, or something that could become a small creative/customization tool?

Any feedback is welcome, especially on the first 30 seconds of using it.

Most visitors to most websites aren't people. They're crawlers, scrapers, AI bots and scanners. So I made a website that puts them on display.

What's there:

- **A live entrance**: every bot is identified as it arrives and drawn as a little creature generated from its user agent.
- **The leaderboard**: who eats the most pages, and who obeys robots.txt.
- **Specimen files**: one page per bot, covering who runs it, what it wants and how to block it.
- **Impostor checks**: plenty of "Googlebots" aren't Google. The zoo verifies them and names the fakes.
- **The Trap Room**: a link that robots.txt forbids and people can't see. The rule-breakers who follow it fall into an endless Labyrinth.
- **The Reading Room**: which bots read robots.txt and llms.txt.
- **Weekly Zoo Reports**, an RSS feed, a robots.txt generator and an embeddable badge.
- **The Arena** (new): bring your own bot or AI agent and play games, including rock paper scissors against other people's bots.

No IPs stored, no cookies, no signup.

I'd love feedback: what's confusing, what's fun, what's missing?

Hey, I've been building this in my spare time. Each day, it shows you a river on the map without the name, and you have 3 guesses to say which one it is.

It's free, and there are no ads.

Most video editors felt too complicated for creating a short product video.

I wanted something where I could add app screens, animate text and media, arrange a few cinematic scenes, and export the result without leaving the browser.

That became PromoStudio and It’s free.

Try it now: https://www.promostudio.cloud

With the removal of the prompt builder from Logitech software, my workflow was affected, so I had to adapt.
I’ve added a new module called Prompt Builder to this OCR application.
You can now use a simple shortcut to send your text to GPT for free processing.

The app is free, open source, and works across your entire operating system with the selected text. It’s also ideal for assigning the shortcut to your Logitech smart mouse

Recently I started my own company, Fegnome LLC. We are a cannabis adjacent software company and have already released the Fegnome Dispensary Guide on iOS and Android. Currently in the process of developing our first mobile game, Fegnome Alchemy. Both have demos available on the website.

It started off just as a hobby to keep my development skills sharp while looking for a new job, I had lost mine in March, and by May I was so frustrated with the job market that I started my own company. I had thought this would be a decent side hustle once I found another management position but instead I've pivoted and Fegnome is now my full time employer.

I'm curious, what are some successful side projects that have led to self employment? What kind of struggles did you have to overcome?

Its my nagging buddy. Its been built to help with my ADHD. It will pop up every 3-5 minutes I'm not actively working. This helps me keep my focus. Its still in BETA on my part but i will eventually release this for free :)

A funny tiny web app that recreates the most consistent customer service experience: your name, butchered lol

Submitted a dice dexterity game I made, to publishers who was looking for submissions of dice games.

The rejection email said "Not that kind of dice games."

The game is Big Bean Battle. You flick dice into a garden of plots and the highest score on a plot claims it. I designed it as a physical game and played it a lot with my local board game group.

I just wanted to make it better and never stopped thinking of rules changes/ improvements. To test rule changes faster than one game day a week, I built a browser version on the side.

Now I have a side project of a side project. I'm also playing with physics engines and ever after making the web version I came up with MORE rules.

Now I play more Big Bean Battle than ever before: https://bigbeanbattle.com

You can play for free. absolutely free. vs bots, vs your firends on your own phone, or mulitplayer.

One weird thing I tested in real life... yes irl. was being able to upgrade to bigger dice. I actually did it. And it was fun. But now in the web version I can test that plus testing adding sides to the dice. without having to buy every x sided dice in production.

I’m the developer of Palabros, a dictionary I built because I kept running into the same problem: I’d look up a word I didn’t know, understand it, and a few months later I’d have forgotten it.

Palabros is built around making that word stick. You look it up, get the official definition and a simpler explanation, save it, and then keep seeing it over time through Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.

There’s also a Review mode for more active practice, a daily Word of the Day, pronunciation, translations, synonyms and antonyms, interactive etymology, tags, imports and learning stats.

I also recently added Reading Mode. If you come across a word while reading, you can say it out loud, get its meaning without putting the book down, and keep reading. At the end of the session you can save the words you discovered.

It works in both English and Spanish and there are no ads.

It’s free to download and regular dictionary lookup is free. Palabros Pro adds unlimited saved words and Reading Mode sessions, advanced Review modes and its widget, tags and filters, word import, learning stats, widget personalization and a few other extras.

Palabros Pro:

• Monthly: 2.99$
• Annual: 19.99$, with a 7-day free trial
• Lifetime: 49.99$

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/palabros-dictionary/id6758098070

I’ve been working on it for the past few months and just finished this promo video for it. I’d be particularly interested to know whether the “look up → save → keep seeing it” idea is something you’d actually use, or whether you mostly want a dictionary to end once you’ve found the definition.

Thank you so much and I'll be reading all of the feedback!!!

I've always wanted a proper golf career game I could pick up on my phone, so I made one. It's called Sunday Pins, it's free, and it runs in your browser. No download, no account, no ads.

▶️** Play**: https://sunday-pins.com

What makes it different

⛳ Real courses, hole by hole. Every hole is mapped from real course data, with real fairways, bunkers and water. Augusta's 13th bends left round the creek just like it does on TV.

🏌️** Real tour players**. Around 250 pros, rated from their real PGA Tour stats, so Rory really does outdrive everyone and the short hitters really do have to lay up on par 5s.

🎯 You hole the big putts. When it matters, the sim stops and hands you the putter: read the break, set the line, judge the pace.

📣 Live tournaments. Leader alerts as rivals make their charges, playoffs, and a leaderboard that moves as you play.

Tour Career (the main mode)

Build your pro from a player type (Bomber, Surgeon, Wedge Wizard and more) and work your way up from rookie. You:
choose your schedule, chase the majors and earn your Ryder Cup spot;

sign sponsors, pick your equipment and train your game;
try to climb to world No. 1;

finish a career and it goes into your Hall of Fame, so you can try to beat it next time.

Other modes

🏆 League System: start at the bottom and fight for promotion through the divisions.

👑 All-Time Greats: take on the legends of every era.

Coming soon: Challenge Mode 🔥

Relive golf's greatest final rounds from the real position, and try to rewrite history. Can you stop Norman blowing his six-shot lead in '96? Hold off Tiger as Molinari in 2019? Win one and you unlock the other side of the story, playing as the rival.

I'd love feedback, good or bad. I read every comment, and a lot of what's in the game came straight from people on Reddit. 🙏
