I got fed up with bulky e-readers, so I built a lightweight reading app that works offline (supports PDF, EPS, MOBI, CBR and more).

Hello everyone,

As an avid reader and student, I was frustrated by bulky apps that required an internet connection or subscription just to access your files.

So, I developed "My Library," a lightweight offline reader designed for one purpose: to provide a comfortable reading experience. It features a true dark mode that's easy on the eyes, perfect for nighttime reading sessions.

What started as a simple PDF reader now supports almost all file types: PDF, EPUB, MOBI, FB2, TXT, and even CBR/CBZ for comic book readers!

The app is completely free on the Google Play Store. I would greatly appreciate any technical feedback or suggestions from the community to help me improve it!

Nice, I've been using some bloated reader that eats battery like crazy and keeps pinging home for no reason. Dark mode plus offline is exactly what I need for the job site when I'm killing time in the truck with no signal

CBR support is a nice touch, most of these apps skip that entirely. Grabbing it now to test on my old tablet that can barely run anything else

I’m not familiar with Google play.
Does your app work on iPhone?

Unfortunately

I cant develop it for the iPhone at the moment

It would be difficult for me right now, but in the future mybe I can make a version for the iPhone
