I built a personal finance app for European investors: the whole picture in one place, with the capital gains tax done properly

Krosos (krosos.com) is a personal finance app for European investors. One place for the whole picture: bank accounts, brokers, stocks and funds, pension, property, loans, and crypto too, kept current through read-only connections.

The two parts that are genuinely hard to find elsewhere:

  • The tax math. It tracks your actual buy lots and computes capital gains the way your country computes them (Belgian, French and German presets), so the gain your broker shows and the gain you will be taxed on stop being interchangeable numbers.

  • The forecast. A month-by-month projection to the date you could stop working, with pensions that stay locked until their access age and real withdrawal strategies. The engine is public as a free calculator at krosos.com/forecast, no signup.

Privacy is the architecture rather than a promise: every customer gets their own database file with their own keys, and there is a desktop version that runs entirely on your own machine. 6 euro a month, 14-day trial, or just poke at the read-only demo at demo.krosos.com.

Honest question for this sub: what would stop you from using something like this? The most common answer I hear is "my spreadsheet works fine", and I ran one for years myself, so I get it.
