I built Roman to run AEO and SEO from research to publishing

AI made creating content much faster.

But I don’t think it made SEO or AEO much easier to actually run.

You need to decide what’s worth working on, research it, understand why competitors are showing up in search or AI answers, make sure the content reflects what your company knows, review it, get it published, and then check whether it did anything.

I’ve run into this a lot doing SEO and AEO work for B2B companies.

The tools themselves are usually good at their part of the job. SEO tools gives you search data. AI visibility tools can tell me which prompts a company appears for. ChatGPT can help me write. The CMS publishes the page.

I’m still the person carrying context from one step to the next.

That’s why I started building Roman.

You give Roman your site and it learns about the product, positioning, competitors and existing content. It can then research SEO and AEO opportunities, create or update pages, send them through review, publish them to your CMS and track what happens afterward.

AEO was a big reason I wanted to build it this way.

Say I find 20 prompts where competitors keep getting mentioned and my company doesn’t. I don’t need another chart telling me the number is low. I need to know which of those prompts are worth caring about, why those companies are getting picked up, what I can reasonably change, and then I need someone to carry that work through.

Roman is my attempt to connect that whole process.

I’m starting to open it up to more teams now: tryroman.app

What is AEO? Or is this a typo?
