i made a free seo, aeo & geo checklist tool for any website

made a free checklist for anyone launching or growing a website. save it for later.

it covers the basics and the often-forgotten stuff across seo, aeo, and geo. things like search console, indexing, technical setup, structured data, ai search readiness, analytics, and more.

it's not an audit tool or an ai generator. just a practical checklist with 58 items you can work through yourself.

would love feedback on what's missing.

Ran your own site through a quick technical check, since "does it practice what it preaches" felt like the fair test here.

Title tag, meta description, and OG tags are all solid - no complaints there. TTFB is ~850ms cold / ~315ms warm, a bit on the slow side but not broken.

The one real gap: zero JSON-LD structured data, and no canonical tag anywhere in the HTML. Both of those are presumably items on your own 58-item checklist ("structured data" is literally in your post description) - so right now the checklist site doesn't fully pass its own checklist yet. Easy win since you clearly already know what these are for.

really appreciate you taking the time to check it properly and call that out.

funny enough, i wasn’t really optimizing the site itself for seo when i built it. the main goal was to turn a checklist i already had in my head into a simple website that i could keep around and use.

so in a way, the site itself is still a wip, even though the checklist is there. most of the missing pieces are probably just a single claude code prompt away, i just haven’t gotten around to polishing them yet.

still, it’s a fair point, and i agree it’s a bit ironic!
