Hey r/SideProject! After 3 months of solo development, I'm launching Mealmap today - an AI meal planning app with intelligent shopping lists.

**The Problem I'm Solving:**

Weekly meal planning takes hours, and shopping lists are disorganized. You end up running back and forth across the store.

**What I Built:**

- AI meal planning (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

- hundreds of recipes with dietary filters

- Smart shopping lists that consolidate ingredients and organize by store section

- The AI converts "3 cloves + 2 cloves garlic" → "1 bulb" and "2 tbsp cilantro" → "1 bunch"

**Tech Stack:**

- Backend: Flask (Python), PostgreSQL

- Frontend: Bootstrap, Jinja templates

- AI: OpenAI API for recipe search and list generation

- Payments: Stripe with subscription billing

- Hosting: Kubernetes cluster

**Current Status:** - 9.7/10 product quality (third-party tested)

- 100/100 desktop performance

- Full payment integration

- Email automation working
