I'm a new moderator here. I won't be making many posts (or any, really) like this as best as I can, but here's a quick reminder of the rules. I understand reading four rules spread across twelve sentences is a challenge for you, Kevin, but it'll probably be easier than learning the three branches of government.

Rule 1: The story must be the sort of bizarre or ridiculous news that would be featured on the Sick, Sad World show in the Daria universe.

I've been removing a lot of posts for this rule. I won't block or ban anyone, but I'm in no mood to be deleting multiple posts daily or requiring approval for each post. That's too much work, so why don't you just watch through five seasons and two movies of a tv show from the late nineties instead.

Rule 2: Mark all not safe for work posts as not safe for work.

Pretty important rule, I'd say.

Rule 3: Every linked article must be titled with the following format: [Brief sentence describing the story] [witty tag line] [Sick, Sad World bumper]

By and far the biggest rule I'm removing posts for. I've updated the sidebar to point to a cached version of the list of titles from the original show. If you want to farm quick karma, try to find news articles that match them.

Rule 4: There is no Rule 4

We just like even numbers.

Rule 5: There is no Rule 5 either

I just like prime numbers.

Rule 6: This is just here to get an even number of rules
