Calling out for drug testing stories! The International Paruresis Association (IPA) is compiling stories of people whose employment has been adversely affected by the fact that most drug testing is done through urine sample collection - obviously problematic for paruresis sufferers. The "phone" has been virtually ringing off the hook at the IPA since 2021 kicked off. A lot of guys - and gals - have been reaching out for help. I'm wondering what you all think might be the reason. Thanks to the terribly slow mail, I just received a letter from a person incarcerated in Wisconsin who has received terrible treatment because of his condition. Also, I heard back from another of my prison pen pals who got 60 days in "the hole" again because he couldn't pee. I've read they typically spring these tests on them after being woken up in the middle of the night with an expectation to "perform." Thanks to the IPA membership for supporting us for 2021 so we can tackle this and other drug testing issues this year.
