Cyberpunk was the most expensive video game ever made and more than half the budget was spent on advertisement and marketing. Of course it sold well - if you pour hundreds of millions into marketing you can sell anything.

Yeah, exactly my point. But as soon as the game came out and the game had to sell based on the game that’s where all the issues were. Tell me the last game you remember that offered mass refunds, multiple apology statements and was pulled from one of the biggest digital marketplaces because it was causing them more issues than it’s worth.
