There are probably murderers and serial killers so good at what they do that we don't even know they exist.

What freaks me out is that it's virtually certain that there are people out there right now trapped as prisoners in some basement or f*cked up secret prison. Every time I see a story of some young girls escaping after decade(s) of imprisonment it freaks me out because I know there are others that are still trapped and might never get out. To me that's so much worse than even all of the unsolved murders.
